tonight? >> reporter: that's right. just a short time ago we learned who that man was that was killed. his name was wayne davis. he was 63 years old and from suitland, maryland. police say davis was trying to cross this street behind me around 7:30 last night when he was hit. i spoke to one of davis' family members earlier today she told me she's very distraught. quite understandable. this is still an ongoing investigation. police are asking for your help. they are looking for a second car that was in the accident but drove away. they say that second car rear ended the first car that hit davis. the second car of not at fault in the accident, but police still want to talk to the driver. they say this is some type of sedan important,ly a buick with damage to the front end. if
