see the white awning there. it's sort of a nondescript type of place. police say they will leave no stone unturned in finding the shooter. a manhunt for a man who opened fire at his job, shooting five co-workers. three are dead. radee prince worked at advanced granite solutions. after killing his co-workers, prince crossed state lines and shot someone at a used car lot in wilmington delaware. he got away again. he's concerned armed and dangerous. >> in the northeast kor docoori there is a search for the crime up in delaware and here. >> take another look at radee prince. police think he's in a

movement. erika gonzalez has the latest with michaela maroney's allegations. >> maroney was one of the darlings of the 2012 london games. maroney says dr. larry nasser started abusing her and it lasted for years. the now 21-year-old spoke about it in a very lengthy statement on twitter. when she traveled to japan, maroney says nasser molested her and she thought she was going to die that night. n nassar has been accused of assaulting at least 140 girls and women. he's pleaded not guilty and is behind bars awaiting trial. nbc has reached out to h a

left was a mess. >> we've seen this over and over and over. >> again and again. >> there was an attendant in the store as this attempted robbery occurred and that quick-thinking attendant may solve the case. >> reporter: we're at the dash and convenience store here in clinton, maryland. a big mess still exists here. the atm is in pieces and has been pulled out of the storefront. i want to show you now a surveillance image of the truck that was involved in this crash here overnight. the worker inside says about 2:po this morning he heard banging on the storefront. he saw that truck backing up and ramming into the store. once the glass came down, he says two men jumped out and came into the store and tried to pull the atm out. as that was happening, he was in the back calling 911. >> that's when i grabbed my

room where the bathroom was at, locked myself in there and i had to call dispatch. i was like, it's crazy because i never expected something like this. >> reporter: and as you can see, this store has been ordered closed so that repairs can begin here. i spoke with the manager earlier. he says it will likely be some days before they can resume business back to normal here. as for that worker, he was not hurt. of course, the suspects have not been caught and the truck is still out there. the worker believes the truck should have some kind of damage to it, perhaps on the front end. but we can tell you right now that prince george's county police say they are looking into this case and gathering clues and hope to find those suspects soon. we're in clinton, justin finch, news4, back to you. you. >> all right, justin. i don't understand why people keep trying to do that. live now to chopper 4, we're flying over s

i'm erika gonzalez. authorities up and down the 95 corridor are looking for 37-year-old radee prince accused of shooting six people today. it started at a granite company in edgewood, maryland. he opened fire on five people, killing three, and drove two hours to delaware where he shot a sixth person, somebody at a used car lot. police think that he's in a black chevy acadia. his license plate just flashed on your screen. there's his picture. if you know anything about him, you're asked to call police. >> thank you, erika. keep us posted. now, new at 4:00, a closer look at domestic violence. it alters the lives of many friends and family. >> and oftentimes victims have trouble starting over because they have nowhere to go. tracee wilkins told us about a p

them. >> i was right over here. >> reporter: 15 years ago, this apartment building sheltered women desperate to leave their homes. tanya was one of them. >> he took his fists and he hit me and he hit me as i was laying in the tub and my head must have hit the back of the tub and apparently i blacked out. >> reporter: after three years of abuse, she left. but found herself back in the relationship because shelters wouldn't take her and her children together. >> i never knew that i was going to face this. i never planned to go through domestic violence. i never planned to be homeless. i didn't plan all of this. >> reporter: there's a new effort to make it easier for mothers to transition out of abuse and into safe housing. there is a $1.5 million grant to help pay for suitable, temporary housing. >> what we are hoping to do is to reach the large number of individuals who want to leave before something happens. >> reporter: in order to help bring attention to this progra

thousands of explorer owners who say their sick, ford continues to tell news4 that it hasn't found levels of carbon monoxide that exceed what people are exposed to every day. but what we uncovered in our investigation has us asking ford how would it know. is it just a coincidence? >> i would get these massive migraines. >> i felt like i was getting a lot of headaches. >> reporter: is it possible these ford explorer owners are imagining this. >> i felt like i was going to fall asleep at the wheel. >> my eyes got real watery. >> reporter: news4 found complaints back to 2011 and ford has been instructing how the fix the leaks since 2012 but when james brought his vehicle to a local dealership, he was told this whole carbon monoxide thing was fake news. >> i asked the people there

about it and they said, oh, the people are putting stuff news. >> reporter: so they blamed it on the news? >> yes. they said they haven't heard anything about it. >> i'm an 18 in the back and 20 in the front. >> reporter: we had james' car tested and they found levels of carbon monoxide that alarmed him. >> this clearly is a level of concern. >> reporter: the ford dealership found leaks and fixed them and then charged her 600 bucks. >> i don't think i should be responsible for something that, number one, isn't my fault and, number two, is a serious health risk for my family. >> reporter: while dealerships will repair the leaks, dealers are not testing for levels of carbon monoxide. and remember, ford insists it has not found any unsafe levels. but if dealerships aren't testing, how would they know? we asked ford this very question. their response, these vehicles are safe.

ford has thoroughly tested levels that exceed what people are exposed to every day. and research and complaints from federal regulators say they found confusion as to how ford dealerships are handling complaints and an explorer owner said the dealership had no idea what he was talking about or this complaint from an explorer owner. they said it was nothing. we asked ford about the mixed messages, the company telling news4 it's doing something about it. by the end of this month, all dealers nationwide will have a complete dealer bulletin announcing a plan on how to deal with customer complaints about fumes. the program also answers questions about who is paying for the repairs. for our customers, peace of mind, ford is offering complementary service that reduces the potential for exhaust to enter the vehicle. customers can take their vehicles regardless of mileage
