police were called to a nearby home invasion in camp springs. they later saw a man running naked down aught road here. but that was not the only thing he was missing. turns out that 23-year-old edwards was missing his gps monitor. he should have had that thing on there. he's now accused of breaking inside a home and trying to rape and kill a woman. he escaped, running off naked with stolen items. later arrested in his clothing. late last month he was charged with sexually assaulting a woman in d.c. where he is also from. the judge had to wear a gps ankle monitor during his release before trial. records also showed he was tampering with that device. i want to give you a sense of where that whole thing happened on saturday. this is the camp springs area where he was found in the 5800 block of auth road. if you saw something weird out

details about this case and perhaps others here in prince george's county. as for edward, he's being held without bond at this time. live in camp springs, justin finch. news 4, back to you. >> justin x thank you. it's 6:04 right now. the allegations surrounding a former teachers assistant are worse than we thought. carlos bell is accused of sexually assaulting children. he sexually assaulted the children and sometimes recorded the abuse. bell also told police that he's hiv positive. prosecutors are seeking a life sentence. we have an update on the triple shooting in zandry. one is a victim at tc williams high school. the second victim is a former student from the same school. that's according to the principal. the shooting was a murder-suicide.

this happened sunday night at the all veterans park in alexandria. the 19-year-old shot his ex-girlfriend who was 17 and her brother who was 15. the girlfriend died and her brother is injured. we want to go to chris lawrence with the damage that was left behind. what are you seeing chris? >> they didn't cause that much damage in our backyard. maybe tree brans down, a lot of mud on the road. take a look at what happened in north and south carolina. the storms blew out windows, crushed cars and flattened buildings. even flipped trucks on their end. it is possible a tornado touched down. cleanup crews -- about 100,000 piem lost electricity. one person tweeted out thankful my wife and kids are okay. it's a mess in

this all happening in the early hours of saturday afternoon. now, take a look here. this is 23-year-old edwards. prince george's county police say this guy broke inside a camp springs home and tried to rape and kill a woman. the trouble here is it comes after another disturbing crime he's accused of sexually assaulting a woman in southeast d.c. late last month. in court for that case, a judge ordered edwards to wear a gps monitor during his release before his trial. it turns out that records show he was tampering with that device and could be why he was not wearing it. in the camp springs area, this is the 5800 block of auth road where edwards was found. this is right off of branch avenue. there is a chance that he was -- if you saw him, police want to
