about an attempted rape. the 81-year-old victim found kari edwards in her garage naked. he chased the victim and locked the door and edwards climbed through the kitchen window and began to choke her. when officers arrived edwards took off with the victim's purse, keys, phone and wallet. they caught up with him a few hours later. edwards was already under court suspicious after allegedly assaulting another woman in d.c. last month. he's now being held without bond. chaos at lunchtime after a car crashed into a restaurant. dozens of customers were inside eating lunch. several of them had to be treated at the hospital. the driver, vernelle robinson, she talked to
