there as well. as far as your travel lines, 270 looks okay. top of the beltway starting to get a little slow. virginia, 66 is fine. 95 north, not too bad there. >> look at you. like riding a bike. >> back on it. back in the saddle. we're learning more details about a sexual assault in bowie on monday night. prince george's county police located this man and are interviewing him. they hope he has information about it. >> megan mcgrath is live in bowie now with exclusive information on what authorities learned from this man. megan, good morning. >> reporter: well, good morning. this sexual assault happened on this popular trail that cuts through a neighborhood in bowie. police believe they had a lead. a person of interest that they had identify. they released some surveillance video of a person in the area at the time. however, police sources tell news 4 shomari

had talked to the man and say he's not involved in the sexual assault. the search for the suspect continues. you can see in this video police officers, investigators went door to door in this neighborhood talking to people, trying to get clues into this case. now, this happened at about 4:30 monday evening. a woman was jogging on this trail and she was in the area of jennings mill drive and jennings lane. that's when a man came out of the woods and sexually assaulted her. now, the woman was able to fight him off and runaway. but that suspect is still on the loose. so certainly a lot of people in this area, a lot of people who use, again, this popular trail are on edge. knowing that the suspect is still out there, police saying that people should be very, very caref careful. if you see anything suspicious, if you have any information, call prince george's county police. back to you. >> megan mcgrath for us. thank you, megan. we're learning more about that barricade situation in rockville. justin finch is at the live

>> this morning, that firefighter is home for the first time in almost three months. it was back in august with that truck hit dane smothers jr. this happened at the scene of a row house fire on capitol hill. doctors initially didn't think the rookie firefighter would survive. smothers thanked his doctors and fellow first responders yesterday when he left med star national rehabilitation hospital. >> return to my family. short time at the firehouse, i've grown to love them and they've grown to love me. >> awesome to see him talking to folks. he still has months of therapy ahead of him. his injuries may make it difficult for him to return to active duty. they see how determined he is. he wants to. the fire department expects him to. he has a family of firefighters. we hope to see him back on the street soon. >> he's beingup

you're right. a big problem here on the bw parkway. it's causing big big delays between 410 and the capitol beltway. the main crash on the southbound side has the left lane blocked where the crash activity happened. we've also got this on the northbound side. not sure if that was a rubber necking crash or disabled vehicle. both north and southbound. the southbound delays, it's backed all the way from the capitol beltway and beyond. pretty much as far as we can see. the northbound delays -- i can't turn the camera around. trust me when i tell you it is quite a delay. >> melissa, what else is going on? >> northbound 270 at montrose, still the crash on the left side. not affecting things too much. northbound and southbound near montrose road is slow as well. southbound 95, the ramp to the inner loop, this

music. this morning, prince george's county police are hoping to learn more information about a sex assault that happened in bowie on monday night. >> police thought they had a lead on a possible suspect here. news 4's megan mcgrath is live in bowie right now. she has exclusive information about the status of the investigation. megan? >> reporter: guys, the victim was actually on this path which cuts through the collington station neighborhood station when she was attacked. police thought they had a lead in the case. they released the picture of a person of interest who was caught on surveillance in the air i can't around the time of the assault. however, investigators have talked to that man and they say that he is not involved. so the search for the suspect continues. now, the attack happened at 4:30 monday evening.

investigation. an increase in a hidden crime which preys on women in public. >> scott macfarlane found a spike in skasst cases of upskirting in the area. >> you might have heard of this. men taking pictures of up and beneath women's clothing and sharing the pictures. in a recent case of this in d.c.'s escalators and in trains. there's a 50% spike in cases just in 2015 and we found these cases have spread well beyond transit stations to shopping centers and outdoor restaurants. a recent victim spoke with the i-team. >> you could say something to the person and you left with a creepy sort of feeling. >> tonight as part of our full investigation on news 4 at 11:00, what police say you
