russians that it hacked the democrats. one month eaie shows papadopolous at a meeting with candidate trump who praised the young consultant in a meeting with "the washington post." >> george papadopolous, he is an oil and energy consultant, excellent guy. >> reporter: th30-arld arrested at dulles airport three months ago and has since been cooperating with mueller's investigation. court documents refer to unnamed campaign officis who were aware papadopolous was trying to set up a meeting between trump and vladimir putin during the campaign. law enforcement tell nbc news one of those unnamed officials was former trump campaign chairmapa. paul manafort. both manafort and rick gates pleading not guilty monday to federal felony charges during a short court appearance. they're accused of hiding millions in foreign consulting fees to avoid paying taxes, failing to register as foreign lobbyists and lying to the fbi. prosecutors say the two men

been. 126 million amica may have been exposed to russian-backed content on facebook in the lead up to the 2016 presidential election and there is much more. this morning, new bombshells from facebook and twitter on russia's attempt to influence american voters in the lead up to the 2016 election. facebook revealing to nbc news that 80,000 posts from russian backed facebook accounts potentially reac a third of all americans between 2015 and 2017. according to prepared testimony obtained by nbc news, the world's largest social network will tell congress today that approximately 126 million people may have been served one of their stories at some point during the two-year period. those posts came from 120 fake russia-backed page at first they only reached 29 million users, but then, through likes, shares follows, they reached 126 million americans. that's half of a
