knowing the charges are now coming down. the charges including involuntary manslaughter and improper driving. as you mentioned, he was a food truck driver. on that day back in september, he is accused of running a stop sign and striking the station wagon back in september near leesburg. in that accident, the mother was killed and her children badly hurt and so was their grandmother. we spoke with their son ben from his bedside about his recovery and what's hurting him now the most. >> i have a broken heart over the loss of my mother. every day gets a little better. i couldn't do it without my grandma. >> that was just a few weeks ago we spoke with ben. he spent almost two months in the hospital. he says he and his family have been overwhelmed by the kindness of people they've never even met. as for tony dane,

9:00 this morning. we're live in loudoun, i'm justin finch. back in to you. >> thank you, justin. 6:04 now. police want to find the person behind the wheel of a nissan. pieces left behind after it crashed into an apartment building. >> the damage was so bad that two families can't go home because the wall of the building buckled. surveillance video shows the car drive into a parking spot and then slam into a wall yesterday. this was at the kings square apartments on dodge park road in the kentland area of the prince george's county. police are still searching for the driver. they say the grille of the nissan was left behind. we're following developing story this morning. neighbors living on 85th avenue in new carrollton are learning that a man was shot to death in their parking lot. they spent hours collecting evidence from the scene. neighbors started calling 911 around 7:30 p.m. to report gunshots when officers arrived.

lot of an apartment building. he died at the hospital. a frightening sexual assault steps away from a local university has police on the lookout for a suspect now. d.c. police say a woman was robbed at gunpoint near gallaudet university. this happened early saturday morning. a suspect stole the woman's phone and pulled out a gun. the woman says she was forced into an alley and sexually assaulted. police would like to hear from anyone who might have information. the calls for candidate roy moore to drop out of the race are growing louder. >> there were allegations of sexual assault and now a new woman is coming forward. chris lawrence is following the developments from the newsroom. chris? >> aaron, eun, beverly nelson is the fifth woman to come forward accusing roy moore of making improper sexual advances on her when she was still a teenager. it's an account she describes in graphic detail. >> i tried

jubilee available at lucky dog animal rescue. by lunchtime, maybe a long walk for the dog. upper 40s, topping out around 53 degrees and dry. this is future weather showing us staying dry today. tomorrow, an increase in cloud cover. that's all ahead of the next rain chance. later in the day tomorrow, there's the rain. that's 10:00 p.m. overnight, light showers into your thursday morning. not a big deal, but it is something we'll be watching. the normal high is 59 degrees. we'll stay below that until thursday. after that, we get cooler again as we go into friday. only 51 for a high there. over the weekend, we're going to warm back up to the upper 50s on saturday. we're calling the upper 50s warm now. relatively speaking. rain coming in late saturday into early sunday. so that's across the weekend. we're going to watch to see how long it lingers into sunday. it does look like it could be doing that. temperature upper 40s. in the 50s next week. we'll be in the 40s to thanksgiving day. a closer look at that forecast as we get closer.
