if you are going to be one of the millions and millions of people getting on the plane and flying out. let's show you the travel. the unsettled weather across parts of northern new york and northern new england. flying out to the pacific northwest, seattle, portland, oregon, there will be unsettled weather down there. spending the thanksgiving holiday. down in the sunshine state of florida for better or for worse. it's still really warm. there are significant chances for rain the next couple of days. across the florida peninsula. some of the best weather in the country might be here at home. we'll be having plenty of sunshine. a little on the chilly side. we'll talk about that. your forecast for traveling for thanksgiving, send me a tweet. i will send you a personalized forecast. let's go to melissa mollet. >> a problem on the beltway. before bw parkway. blocked by the crash. send a chopper that way in a

opens at 8:00 a.m. and closes at 11:00 p.m. parking will be free at all facilities. on black friday, rail and bus service operates on a regular weekday schedule. with normal fare and parking rates. beginning on saturday, there will be no red line service between silver spring and ft. totten. a lot of people have to head to the airports to pick up family members heading into town. marshall is trying to make it easier for you. they're offering free parking for the first hour in hourly garages. it is also adding 50 spaces to the cell phone lot. the arrivals area will be less congested. shuttles, taxis and ride sharing vehicles will now have to pick up and drop off passengers on the departure level. all of these changes will be in effect through mid-january. >> we are working for you to track flight delays this morning. according to flight aware, things are running smoothly at reagan national.

no significant delays in any of the airports you're jetting off to. tomorrow should be the busiest airport travel day of the week. today will be the busiest day on the roads. our transportation reporter adam tuss is out on i-95 in laurel. he'll join us in a few minutes with tips on the best and worst times to be on the roads. you want to hear this before you leave work today. 6:06 now. we have breaking news about a recent officer involved shooting in pennsylvania. chris lawrence at the live desk with details. chris, what's happening? >> chris, i retweeted the pennsylvania state police. they've confirmed that a man wanted for shooting and killing a young officer is now in custody. so they've got their suspect. rookie officer brian shaw was shot and killed during a traffic stop on friday. they had tentatively scheduled a press conference for 10:00 this morning. a few hours from now, details on how they were able to catch

involved in this case. eun, back to you. >> chris, thank you. here at home, we're getting a unique view of a house fire in prince george's county. take a look at this. a firefighter captured these flames from his dashcam as he rolled up to the scene here. you can see the flames on top of the garage. a fire tore through the home on mchenry lane. minutes later, they tried to douse hotspots. investigators say monday's fire started in the chimney and spread to the garage. >> a local funeral home has been shut down. the owner accused of taking advantage of grieving families. the funeral home in d.c. is named in a lawsuit. d.c. attorney general filed. the lawsuit alleges that they charged it for services it did not provide. the attorney general says the funeral is operating without a proper license. the funeral home says it's not making a statement about the case. this morning, fairfax county police want l

eye out for abuse. this comes after two public school employees were arrested for assault. james duffy iii and aide edmond bailey are accused of assaulting the 11-year-old boy twice in one week. the incident happened last month. a staff member witnessed the second assault and intervened. bailey resigned. a statement from fairfax county public schools says their actions do not reflect the expectations of the school nor the dedication of the employees who care deeply about the well-being of all students, especially those who are most vulnerable. 6:08 right now. one of three missing teens in prince william county have been found. the girl in the mild of the screen has been found safe. the other two remain missing. the girls were reported as runaways on november 12th.

off to the -- earlier than we were blocking part of the roadway. much more coming up. developing this morning, veteran television host charlie rose will be off the air today. he's been suspended from cbs as well as pbs amid sexual harassment allegations. eight women told the "washington post" that rose made unwanted advances toward them. rose has apologized for his behavior saying he's greatly embarrassed. however, he says that not all of the allegations are accurate. we turn to a decision that will be devastating for tens of thousands of families. the trump administration is ending temporary permits for 60,000 patients. conditions in haiti have improved significantly since 2010. that's when a powerful earthquake shook the caribbean nation. families have until july of 2019 to return to haiti. you may want to move up your plan to buy a christmas tree

uber says the man charged with raping a woman at american university was banned from the driving system for the company in 2015. he's charged with sexually abusing and kidnapping a 21-year-old woman sunday morning. she says the suspect posed as an uber driver when he picked her up along with a friend in dupont circle. the driver reportedly ordered the friend out of the car, drove to american university and sexually assaulted the woman. uber did not say why the man was removed from the app. our area may not be the only place where certain drivers should not be giving

investigators say 57 uber drivers in colorado should not have passed a background check. three had duis and they fined the company nearly $9 million. uber says it is working to resolve the error. now to incredible video only on news 4. a pilot managed to land his plane without working landing gear. that pilot circled the runway at st. mary's airport for more than 90 minutes yesterday before he decided to go for it. >> that's what you're seeing in this video. he landed the plane on the belly. listen to the dispatchers after they learned the pilot was in trouble. what are the indications. we have a crash or what? >> soupds like a hung landing gear. >> after the landing, the pilot as you can see there, just hopped out of the plane and walked out waited for firefighters like it was no big deal. a crane was

they're the first of 200 people faci facing chaos -- their trial started yesterday and is expected to last several weeks. each faces decades in prison if convicted on all charges. it will take a year and a half to complete the trials for everyone who was arrested. a missing prince william county teen has been found safe. two other girls are still missing this morning. thomas, the girl in the center here, they're looking for the two other girls who went missing on november 12th. a mother says she is not comfortable letting her daughter walk to school alone anymore in temple hills. >> this comes after a man exposed himself to the girl. prince george's county police say the man targeted a little boy. both incidents happened near benjamin stoddard middle school. our tracee wilkins spoke exclusively with them. we're not showing their
