prince george's county. police there tell us two separate cars hit a man who was in the road. he died at the intersection last night. the first driver stayed on scene. but the second one drove away. they think that driver may not have realized that someone was hit. fire and ems working to repair a significant water main break in northwest. at least two homes between 9th and t streets are flooded there. crews met us at the scene. they are requesting help from d.c. fire. we'll provide you with more details as soon as we get them. redskins fans have quite a lot to be thankful for this morning after last night's victory over the giants. >> cousins in trouble. o on the run.

4:15 is your time. a sad holiday for the family of a trooper shot and killed in texas on thanksgiving. trooper damon allen was gunned down during a traffic stop at 4:00 in the afternoon. the suspected gunman is the -- he was arrested after driving away from the scene. trooper allen had been with the texas highway patrol since 2002 and leaves behind a wife and three children. you may remember the case of oscar pistorius. he's the south african olympic athlete convicted of killing his girlfriend on valentine's day in 2013. a south

than doubled sentenced to six years. he will now spend 13 years in prison. authorities say he killed rita steenkamp after a valentine's day fight. pistorius has always maintained he thought she was a burglar and that is why he shot her. the family of a little boy born without kidneys has a lot to be thankful for. the 3-year-old is recovering from kidney transplant surgery now in atlanta. the family expected the kid di would come from his dad who is going through the approval process. but he couldn't make that donation due to a probation violation. after many protests, hospital officials changed their minds. but while they were waiting on the transplant, a call came in. there was a kidney ready for a.j. shopping for a new tv on this black friday? you'll likely

the program to dies in a crash, usa today reports it's the latest ethical dilemma that car makers having to take on. one issue has to do with what happens when self-driving cars get into a no-win situation with pedestrians or cars driven by people. overall, the self-driving cars are expected to save lives because of the technology that comes with them. now that the fall season is in full swing, you'll likely see more deer out. with less daylight, there's a higher chance you could hit a deer while driving. news 4's justin finch looks at what you can do if you end up in a crash. >> reporter: there's always another car to fix at bethesda's auto body dimension's garage. come fall, the work picks up. >> this time of year, deer mating season, i can see it getting busy in here. >> we're always busy, yes. but this time of year it does with the deer. >> e
