the "today" show will go on the air without matt lauer. millions were shocked to hear he had been fired over allegations of sexual misconduct. starting with hollywood producer harvey weinstein and since then accusations against kevin spacey, actor jeremy piven, louis c.k. senate candidate roy moore. glenn thrush and charlie rose and the list is by no means complete. the news about matt lauer broke wednesday morning as the "today" show went on the air. lauer hasn't commented but nbc executives received two other complaints about him. lauer was fired for an incident that happened at the 2014 olympics in rio. they're laying out a pattern of conduct. the magazine claims that while lauer was covering the olympics, he allegedly extended late-night invitations to his hotel

another room claims lauer exposed himself to her in his office. several women spoke up and complained but nbc ignored them. nbc news denied that allegation add issues a statement reading, "we can say unequivocally prior to -- nbc management was never made aware of any complaints about matt lauer's conduct". >> jimmy fallon did not go easy on lauer during his opening monologue for "the tonight show." take a listen. >> nbc has fired matt lauer from the "today" show after he was accused of inappropriate sexual behavior. if you're wondering where in the world is matt lauer, he's probably at bare with charlie rose. at a bar with charlie rose. that's our guess. savannah guthrie, hoda cot by and lester holt were together for the free lighting. they did not mention

during that event. garrison keillor is kyle his firing all kinds of bewildering. a minnesota public radio terminated him after algtss of misconduct. he told a massachusetts newspaper that he loved the show he worked on for decades and he can't believe somebody else can torch it in one morning. he put a hand on a woman's bare back while consoling her. she recoiled. there are no other allegations against keillor. now to a developing store i have a suspected syria killer in tampa. donaldson will make a first appearance in court. he's accused of randomly killing four people. it was a tip from a co-worker that led police to donaldson. the tipster's husband says she doesn't really think of herself as a hero. >> a lot of people say what they'll do in

that. when something happens, it's totally different. i'm so proud of my wife for handling that the way she did. >> the co-worker found a gun inside donaldson's bag while at work and told a police officer. that same gun was used in all four murders. the tipster received a $9,000 reward from a local restaurant group. right now, d.c. police are trying to figure out how a man died. we're still working on more details about this investigation. the victim was found dead in northwest d.c. around 13th and n street in the logan circle neighborhood. police were called to the scene just before 6:00 last night. they have not yet released the victim's name. this morning, we're learning details about the investigation into russia. usa today report says president trump's son-in-law vard kushner has been questioned by special counsel robert mueller. according to the article, it centered

young mother suing prince george's hospital center. she says her obstetrician, charles a coat a, of bowie, fraudulently obtained a medical license putting her and her baby at risk when she gave birth five years ago. >> i thought i was losing my life during the delivery. the fact that i'm finding out that this man was a fake at the end of the day is really hurt me. >> the lawsuit claims that he used fake social security numbers, a fake passport, u.s. visa, immigration documents, medical diplomas, letters of recommendation and birth certificates. he pleaded guilty to a federal fraud charge and served jail time. the lawyer representing the women in the lawsuit says the hospital failed to do its homework. >> maybe they should have checked his social security number. they would have learned that he's a fraud. that he obtained his license fraudulently. >> the hospital e-ma m
