condition. this happened in prince george's county. take a look at the video. you can see that car sustained some damage. it happened on conte road in laurel. it's near deerfield run elementary school. officers found the victim in the middle of that road. we've also learned the car involved did stay there on the scene with the police. >> chris, thank you. later this morning, a fourth man will go before a judge in the murder of two high school honor students. >> a crime that shocked a local community here. police in montgomery county arrested a man on friday. he's charged with two counts of first degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. according to police, new dna evidence linked him to the murders of two people. back in june, the teens were found shot to death inside a car in montgomery village. it was the night before their high school graduation. police believe the killings were retaliation r

that jar was rumored to be involved with. developing this morning, the white house is doing damage control. the president's outside lawyer is taking responsibility for a tweet that could land the president in hot water with the fbi. take a look. here is that tweet. i had to fire general flynn because he lied to the vice president and the fbi. this would mean he committed a felony when he told fbi director james comey to go easy on him. that could be obstruction of justice. president trump's personal lawyer, john dowd, now says he wrote the tweet, not the president. friday, michael flynn pled guilty to lying to the fbi. that is not the only issue the president faces this morning. the former host of "access hollywood" is firing back at president trump over the infamous tape where the president can be heard bragging about grabbing women. there are reports president trump has privately questioned whether the voice on the tape is really his. in a

this week, the u.s. supreme court is set to take on pretty big cases. the biggest issues have to do with gambling and weddings. today the court will hear a case to legalize sports betting across the country. depending on the outcome, it could break the monopoly in vegas. chris christie argue that is states should be able to decide the issue, not the federal government. tomorrow the high court will take on a case involving a colorado baker who says he couldn't make a wedding cake for a same sex couple because of his religious beliefs. they say it's similar to a discrimination case from the 1960s. that case involved a barbecue spot in south carolina who wouldn't serve african-americans citing religious beliefs. >> it's 4:40 this morning. we know which college football teams would become this year's national champion. first ranked clemson will take on number 4 alabama in the sugar bowl.

news 4's tracie potts joins us live from capitol hill. tracie, how realistic is that friday deadline? >> less of a deadline, more of a goal to get this done. the president wants it on his desk by christmas. they have a few weeks to play with here. these versions with very different. the house tax plan, the senate tax plan. the house wants to get rid of health -- the senate wants to get rid of the obama mandate to buy insurance. the house does not. not to mention, you saw this as they were scrambling late friday and early saturday morning. the handwritten notes in that bill. some lawmakers feel there are things they haven't seen yet. one lawmaker put it, there's sneaky stuff in here that we haven't gotten to yet. some of the pet projects that get jammed in at the last minute. >> tracie, i want to ask you about the possible government shutdown too. congress has fouys

>> they want to keep the money flowing for the next couple of days, aaron. lawmakers have been working on this, they have a framework for a deal that would temporarily keep the money flowing until december 22nd. give them another week, buy a few weeks, buy some time to get something more permanent. big issues is that democrats are trying to force a decision on daca, protection for young immigrants in conjunction with the budget negotiations going on. the top republican on the senate side, mitch mcconnell said that's ridiculous, they have until march to deal with that. >> tracie potts live on capitol hill for us. tracie, thank you. a tense scene outside the white house. a small group of self-proclaimed atlantic right -- it was protesting the shooting death of kate steinle. the man was acquitted in court

his call for tougher immigration laws. he also tweeted about the case after the acquittal calling it a disgraceful verdict. police separated the alt right group from a larger group of counter protesters. there were no arrests. the anti-muslim videos retweeted by the president sent out a global outcry and now it's spurring action in the area. muslim and jewish leaders held an anti-bigotry summit in northern virginia to talk about the issue. one project they're working on is forming a hate crimes board to get involved in local cases. some speakers said they've been the victims of hate crimes themselves. >> this guy wanted to run me over and said this isn't iraq and proceeded to call me the b-word. i made that my life's goal to be an outspoken and strong person against this and change so that this kind of violence doesn't happen to anybody else >> president

summit -- it happens every year. the elections in virginia is now requesting a recount. democratic joshua cole filed for the recount in the 28th district for the virginia house of de delegat delegates. that includes fredericksburg and stafford county. cole lost to thomas by 82 votes. candidates in two other tight virginia races also filed for recount. the search is under way for two men who caused a scare inside this t-mobile store in district heights. police say they were armed when they walked into that store on silver hill road yesterday afternoon. the men ordered everyone inside to go to the back of the store. the gunmen got away with $1100 worth of items. no one was hurt. here at the live desk. following a scary scene on board a plane. passengers a
