mollet. >> and i'm aaron gilchrist. we start with a blast of cold air. still not too bad outside now the question is when will that change. >> it will change this afternoon. wait until you wake up and walk out tomorrow morning. don't say we didn't warn you. these are actual temperatures. chicago is 12 degrees. this air moving in this direction. 45 degrees in washington, so not so bad. cloudy skies currently. here's a look through tonight. temperatures what you see on the top dropping into the 20s quickly after 7:00 p.m. and then wind chill with the breeze we'll see increasing. get into the teens. and then quickly into the single digits. take a look at tomorrow morning. 19 degrees by 7:00 a.m. but feeling closer to about maybe three to five degrees depending where you are. that is some cold air heading this way.

we'll talk about what you can expect through the afternoon. >> thank you. we are following some breaking news in the district. police are trying to identify a woman whose body was found just a few hours ago. >> in the past hour the chief saying this might be someone recently reported as missing. let's go right now to news4 justin finch. >> reporter: hey there, melissa. we have been watching past hour a so. a woman was found in this house clay street. also 34th street northeast. in the back driveway you can see the sirens going back there is where the woman's body was found about 8:30 this morning. police are saying her death appears to be suspicious at this time. also the chief has shade disturbing for neighbors after the neighbor found the woman back in the driveway

believe she has been a woman missing since the thanksgiving holidays and right now working to identify her. we have the chef right now. take a listen. >> we are looking at this as a suspicious death. also looking into the possibility, we have not identified the person yet, but looking into the possibility that this is a woman who went missing, who was reported missing the day after thanksgiving. >> reporter: and we have spoken to several neighbors here on the ground hotel us they do believe they know who this woman is. and that she has been missing for sometime. they also say she seems to live in this area as well. neighbors also telling us that home where she was found has been abandoned for sometime and has been a concern for sometime as well. so police right now trying to figure out exactly who she is. . how she died. and why she was found where she was found this morning. we are live here in

the russian olympic committee says now supporting russian athletes who choose to

compete. the olympic committee banned russia last week but gave athletes the option to compete under the russian flag without a specific country. says roc officials say most athletes want to compete even as neutrals. the committee will do their best to help those still completing. the cold weather and snow over the weekend is good news for local resorts. the wilton county doing the cannon since last thursday. winter green hopes to have 7 of 20 slopes ready to go when it opens this friday. so there is an upside. a lot of people looking forward to ski season. >> and it's a big business. they need the snow to run their resorts. and you have to love fresh snow. >> i love it. >> i love the fireplace at the ski resort. >> i'll say,

4:00 p.m. temperatures start dropping. 7:00 p.m. wind chills up to 20 degrees. maybe mid-30s by 7:00 p.m. 10:00 p.m. look at the wind chills, we can be can looking at single digits. so go too tomorrow, wednesday, morning temperatures 20s and below twreezi bel below freezing afternoons. single digits by 7:00 p.m. 10:00 a.m. close to the teens. 1:00 p.m. that's where we'll be below 20 degrees for the feels like temperature. here's future weather, not only talking about the cold, but talking about that small clipper system that i did mention moving into the forecast but only for part of the area. that's 9:00 p.m. wednesday, so again with these clippers they move pretty quick. sometimes the timing does change the direction that it's moving can change. so we'll have to watch the track. but mostly north of the district we can
