out for an assault. police are expected to release more information later today. you can keep an eye on your nbc washington app this morning for any updates that come in. today, maryland governor, larry hogan will speak at the funeral of lieutenant sander cohen had. the deputy fire marshal was killed on a crash on i-270. he stopped to help fbi special agent carlos wolff who crashed. another car hit and killed both men. cohen's funeral is at 11:00 this morning at the synagogue in rockville. wolff ease funeral is also today in gaithersburg. you'll run into some road closures because of the cohen funeral today. here's what you need to know. montrose between montrose parkway and east jefferson street will be open to local traffic only. the slow lane of both eastbound and westbound montrose road will be closed.

a man found his teenage son dead in the woods, not police. he died over the weekend in bethesda. police believe the death was a tragic accident. pat collins spoke with sepehri's father saying police didn't do enough to help find his son. >> monday night, 17-year-old navid sepehri, a senior in high school, was found dead near the bannockburn swim club. he was found by his father. he talked to me about it but asked that we not show his face. >> you found him? >> i found him. >> you were alone. >> i was alone. >> the police? >> they were gone. >> this all began saturday night. there was a party on elgin lane. there was drinking at the

navid and some other teens left on foot. navid missing for about 18 hours before he was found in these woods, and his father says police did little to help. >> police didn't do anything for us, nothing. zero. nothing, nothing to help us. sitting in the shopping center, drinking coffee. >> police say they were out and nearby when he found his son. >> when the father cried out, there were other officers nearby in the woods who heard navid's father exclaim that he had found his son. >> he said at 3:00 a.m. sunday morning, he went to the bethesda police station and talked to an officer about his missing son. he says the cop told him to wait. >> she told me that, this
