forecast. good morning everybody. and welcome to news4 midday. i'm erika gonzalez. now they are meeting to say final good buys, cohen and special agent wolf were killed last week on i 70. we are at both funerals this morning. we begin with chris gordon in rockville. chris? >> reporter: applies motorcycle escort brought the family to rockville, maryland. they are walking in to be greeted by governor larry hogan will be speaking at the funeral honoring cohen service and sacrifice. you also see the color guard made up of maryland state police as well as fire and police personnel from across the state and beyond.

it's a funeral with full honors for deputy state fire marshall sandra cohen. he died in the lied of duty eye friday night. stopping to assist fbi special aenl carlos wolf both men struck along the highway and died. >> sandra was well-known across the state as a whole and part of his job as a state fire marshall. he touched the lives of a lot of different people across the state. more locally here, sandra was a local guy. grew up here and went to potomac high school. lots of friends in the area. >> reporter: to honor cohen, they are here to honor him and along with maryland state police. you are now looking at a live picture from chopper 4 over

thro tros road where they line the roadway. the cohen roadway will be passing this tribute on the way to the cemetery for a private burial. another another funeral going on in wolf occurring in gators berg. our megan is here. >> reporter: thanks. we are here at the church of the redeemer, you can see a few people coming in. but we are expecting the service to begin any moment now. fbi special agent carlos wolf was involved in ha accident on 270. that's how he came to be standing on the shoulder of the highway with lieutenant sandra cohen. he too was hit and kiltd led in that accident. now the family has released a statement they are absolutely heart broken. and the information, t

today's funeral service, the family had a message for people in attendance. it reads in part we know carlos always went out of his way to have an individual relationship with every one of you and know carlos treasured every one of your relationships. thank you for taking the time to celebrate his life with us. obviously, a very difficult time for the families, special agent wolf is survived by his wife and two children. he was off duty eye tan in his personal car at the time this accident happened. and his family is still grappling with the loss here. he was just 36 years old. back to you. >> megan mcgraph, thank you. you are going to run into some road closures because of this. open to local traffic only. slow lane montrose lane is

>> thanks. switching gears, former massage envy therapist is expected to plead guilty in court this morning with improperly touching two women at the town location in northwest d.c. also being investigated in cases in buoy and georgetown. legal case against massage envy. one of the alleged victims is suing the company for $25 million. in about two hours, the man prosecutore prosecutors say for ramming his car into counter protesters will appear in court. >> prosecutors say james fields junior was behind the wheel of this car when he drove into the crowd in august. you may recall this was the violent confrontation between white nationalist

this crash. we are waiting to hear how a two people died in a high-rise. this is the scene around lace house apartments on fenwick police. police originally called out for assault, and when officers got inside they found the two victims. you can keep an eye on updates for this story. >> rockville back open after a fatal accident involving a pedestrian. montgomery county police say a man was hit in the crosswalk near the metro station. police say the driver of the car was 83-year-old man from germantown. they have not released the name of the victim. and chopper 4 staying busy this morning. take a look at this horrible crash with injuries that was just after 6:00 this morning. this was a multi vehicle crash that happened along i-95. look at the backup and

a montgomery county father says he found his teenage son deed in the woods but it wasn't police, it was him. 17-year-old na vid died over the weekend. trag police say it was a

emergency. the search is on for three men who police believe are responsible for a string of burglaries. police say there have been at least seven in the past couple of weeks. and in one case they used a stolen church van to get away. surveillance video captured the men pulling up in that stolen van on h street and northwest. happened about 5:00 in the morning last tuesday. break in the front glass door, and then very gracefully fall in. the van belonged to young's memberal church of cries in southeast d.c. >> prayers the person will have some remorse what they have done. >> the church van has been recovered but the suspects are still out there. so you've heard about tires and rims being stolen from cars. but now something even more unusual. entire doors. the door is taken off in a matter of minutes. news4 spencer is giving us the latest on how to prevent this from happening to your car.

have heard about thieves stealing tires and rims off of cars. but this is completely different thing where thieves are stealing entire car doors. it happened to a man who lives here in this apartment complex in arlington. his car parked in the parking lot, comes out to go to work, two of his doors are missing. you can imagine that feeling. arlington county police are investigating. at this point no arrests have been made. now, car experts tell us that this is something that thieves could probably pull off in about five minutes. >> when you have specific parts on a car taken, somebody is putting an order in for someone. >> reporter: we are working on ways to prevent yourself from becoming a victim. very important to keep your doors locked. they can still smash the window but might make it harder for them. also, if you can get a cara lance armstrong, if that
