breaking news. thanks for joining us on this midday. i'm chris lawrence. >> i'm molette green. we want to get you to the breaking news. deadly shooting in reston. news4 derrick is there with the latest. >> reporter: it was about 5:00 a.m. this morning when police were called to 3,600 block of black fur court. when they got here they found 3 people shot inside. two of the adults pronounced dead. third person in critical condition. police do not have any identifying information they are releasing at this time about these victims, whether they were

back now with some breaking news. maryland man is in custody this morning accused of stealing from teachers purses during the school day. it's a crime that demonstrates a serious flaw in school security for both private and public schools in our area. prince georgia chief joins us live with this story that you'll only see on news4. tracy when i heard about this, it made me say you are kidding me. >> reporter: exactly. because how does a man with no connection in the schools make it in school ns this area, walk around students and go into unlocked classroom. did it at the international school and right across the

elementary. the police took the suspect in custody. he is charged with going into these schools, and stealing from teachers, going into their purses, taking out debit cards and credit cards, then going to area stores like target and safe way and spending their money. here now from the police department. >> he'd walk around schools, enter classrooms unoccupied at the time, still credit cards from the teachers' purses, staff purses, immediately leave the school and go to various stores, target, safeway, giant, and use those cards, which were buying merchandise. >> reporter: he is now in custody being held by the
