you're hearing passengers screaming as they felt the impact and saw the other plane's wing catch fire. the passengers were on a west jet flight that had just arrived from cancun. there were no passengers on the other plane. it was backing up when it hit the west jet flight. >> all of a sudden it started spitting fuel all over the wing. about a second or two later, not even a second, it kind of all ignited and there was a big fire ball and everyone started yelling and panicking. >> everybody evacuated using these emergency slides there on the plane. no passengers were hurt. a school lunch aide sits in a jail cell tonight charged with possession and distribution of child pornography. maryland state police arrested shaun kelly of silver spring yesterday. he had been working at the elementary skill and kids a

the principal said he put kelly on administrative leave after hearing about the allegations. he no longer works after hours. police believe the photos discovered on his computer are not of students in the montgomery county public schools. chapter 4 capturing this dramatic scene. fire flaring up the back of this row of town homes in bitter cold just adding to the very daunting task of getting all of this under control. today firefighters are back out there cleaning up. as darcy spencer explains, the cold and ice are a huge factor. >> reporter: we're here on the scene of the fire. if you take a look here you can see everything has frozen over because of those frigid temperatures. this started when someone used a flammable liquid to try to restart a fire in th

those flames went out of control, shot through the roof and spread to neighboring town homes. 20 people were displaced. several firefighters were injured as well as a resident here. residents had to rush out into the cold to escape the smoke and flames. i just spoke to one resident who was temporarily displaced because his home filled with smoke. >> i really only had a couple of seconds to grab my things and run outside. that's when i noticed the fire from the back yard. at that point i just saw everybody banging on doors, telling everybody to get out. and i just saw a lot of smoke. >> montgomery county firefighters returned today to talk to neighbors about fire safety and to test smoke alarms in the community. this fire caused $1.4 million in damage. the displaced residents are getting assistance from the red cross. darcy spencer, news 4. a show of support for the people of iran outside the

house today. iranian americans calling for regime change during this rally. similar protests are being held in major u.s. cities today. this follows a wave of violent clashes in iran that began over economic issues and soaring unemployment. president trump is supporting the anti-government protest. iran's supreme leader says enemies of iran are behind the uprising. it may be the dead of winter but many local students are already thinking about summer jobs. prince georges county kicked off their summer job today. the program gives hundreds of teens paid jobs in fields like government, business and i.t. they'll also learn how to manage their money. >> you can give so much back. it's to the community. it's to the children. when you see what comes out of it,
