mollet. >> and i'm erika gonzalez. we have news from the chaotic scene. news reported kidnapping. news4 justin finch gathering details. justin, what's going on? >> reporter: hey there, good morning. this is the second location involving the story. we got a call from montgomery county police in the twin brooks metro station where they got report of attempted kidnapping there. also got details about a possible vehicle involved. a white suv, perhaps pulling a trailer, found that a mile from the scene, near bradley avenue where we are right now. as you can see, investigators from rockville still holding the scene this morning. in that vehicle, police were able to apprehend a couple

the neighbor who said she saw all of this happen and did not know what to make of it. take a listen to that. >> there were four people taken out of the suv in the front yard of my neighbor's front yard there. and they were, i have no idea, i wish i could tell you. we've been watching it for the last hour. probably ten police cars. and several unmarked cars that came up. never have had anything quite like this on bradley. and there is always coming and going in that house, but this was obviously something more, and running from the police. >> reporter: and what a shock for neighbors this morning. some coming out to sea the scene that still remains this morning. again, rockville police holding the scene. montgomery police also investigating. we alsoow

the break. they said they should run waters a little longer because it may it be discolored. frozen pipes have created a lot of wrc for water companies around the area. also made getting around town a nightmare in some spots for drivers. several crews repaired 60, 6-0 breaks on monday, and more than 300 since the start of 2018. we are working to learn if george washington middle school will open. closed today after a pipe burst last night. fire marshall said it's into the safe for kids to be in the building until that issue is resolved. now to a developing story in the district, sounds like something out of a movie. investigators tell us someone stole a d.c. police cruiser and crashed it around 1:00 a.m. this morning. they nabd it ngot it not far fr eastern

breaking overnight on immigration, federal judge temporarily halted president trump's plan to end protections for d.r.e.a.m.ers. >> and this morning the who's is responding to that decision about the daca program. white house press secretary sarah sanders released a statement saying in part, we find this decision to be outrageous, especially

president juan hernandez following an earthquake 7.6 hit the coast of kay men islands. puerto rico and caribbean islands under threat overnight of the tsunami. mudslides in california claimed the lives of at least 15 people while destroying roads and businesses and homes. oprah winfrey home was one of the many homes hit. posted these videos showing the damage. nbc has the latest from mon montecito. >> reporter: clearing the mud and debris as the search for survivors continues. along the coast of santa barbara county coast guard called in to help with evacuation. and while that major part of the search and rescue continued in the air, it was an
