e men took off running. during the chase they say mne of th took out a gun and pointed it at thce. poired and killed him. the neighbors t sayy only heard one set of gunshots. we've also learned new details about a deadly police shooting in silver spring. this is video you'll see only on news 4. it shows the moment after a montgomery county police officer shot a man outside a police building. u can see the officer standing over the wounded man. police say that man is robert white. witnesses say there was a fo confrontation that shooting. robert white, who did not have a weapon, died at the hospital. th officer who shot him is a o- ar veteran and is on standard leave during the investigation. virginia voters picked their candidates for the november mid terms. two of the races will lely get national attention. democrat jennifer westin will face republican incumbent baara comstock the race is set to be one of the most expensive races in the a countr democrats try to

you're watching "news 4 today." de> right now police are trying toify a person hit and killed on i-95 in beltsville. the hit and run happened late monday just of route 200. we're told the victim was walking on the interstate and the driver involve not stop. however, police say they have identified two passengers in the vehicle. well, check out these massive flames here coming from a school bus. this was in new jersey. >> yeah. quick tnking 11-year-old is being called a hero for jumping into action here. rocco arcese says he is the one who gave the marching orders yesterday morning. when he smelled smoke he immediately told the driver. >> i was like, we should get off. he was like, i'm packing up right now. i could have died. the bus driver could have died. >> now rocco and the dver

by me and by the hordes of people that were out on the national mall. this morning, a little change in the weather has come our way. overnight winds turned back around to the southndwarmer, more humid air is back. 68 degrees right now here i washington. there's that southwesterly wind. here's the big picture. an area of low pressur through parts of the ohio valley and eastern great lakes will drag this cold front through here later on this evening. out ahead of it, warm, unstable air in place. so as a result we've upped our ra chance today to50%. most of the rain in the first part of the day is going to be combined from frederick, hagerstown, martinsburg. the i-95 corridor likely to be dry throughout the early morning parts of the commute. we will haveaks of sunshine. it's not going to be a total wash. enough soshine up noontime to get temperatures way up to the 80s.

"news 4 today" starts now. just about 5:00 a.m. good morning, everybody. i'm aaron gilchrist. >> and i'm angie kbof in for eun yang. only wednesday morning and already a fantastic week for the district. we're going to take a look back at the msive capitals victory parade celebration all morning long. re first though, we looking ahead towards your commute and forecast. noticeably warmer today. noticeably more humid as well, and unlike 100% dry forecast yesterday, we will be dodging drops from time to time. >> yes, a few rain drops around today including this morning. you will notice all the clouds around. so very different than yesterday. e have a little bit of an unsettled weather pattern this morning for part of the area and then later on this afternoon.
