tom sherwood is the moderator and a reporter panel will include prince george's bureau chief tracee wilkins. president trump is taking a viory lap after his historic meeting in singapore with north korean leader kim jong-un. the president now back in washington tweeting that north korea is no longerur most dangerous problem. joining us with new reaction to that sentiment is nbc senior political editor mark murray. the president obviously declaring victory. this agreement is more of an outline. there aren't deadlines orec ics. congress isn't sure even his own party about what it is. what is it? >> even if you take everyone at good faith and base on best intentions you have a very long way to go to bealble to verify the nuclear material to be able to take it away to have kind of an inventory. even today with president trump

north korea and united states to be able to dot all the is and cross the ts the process will play out for months if not years. that process is so important to making sure that any kind of agreement gets done. >> one thing that we did commit to is that the president says we will end our military exercises and then he said this will save us a lot of money. is that correct? and he caught the military offguard with that one, correct? >> he did. people actually see that that was a very big concession to north korea to be abl to take that off the table. one of the questions is what did the united states get for that in parcular when caught by the united states military as well as south korea by surprise. you end up having the situation where the united states government can say we can continue to have those later on.

billion. tonight u.s. park police are investigating shooting on the baltimore washington parkway. chopper 4 overhe scehis afternoon here in the area of river dale road where pice tell uhe shooting happened between two vehicles. the person injured inside the burgundy car you see here got off the parkway and called 911 and was transported to the . hospital police closed a stretch of the parkway to investigate. county executive baker says his heart goes out to the family of coon who was killed in 2016 as he was working under cover out ofun orm when shot by a fellow officer during a shoout at police headquarters mistaken for one of the shooters. t earlies week colson's family filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the county. they have t do as a family what they feel best.

school board member says dress codes around the country unfairly target girls. do you think the dress code needs to be amended? >> i think so. mostly for the girls there are stricter rules. >> guys have it easier when it comes to shopping for school clothes. >> reporter: he plans on proposing an amendment at the school board meeting to help end what he calls body shaming. the dress code dadop in 2004 calls for tasteful and appropriate clothing that does not expose cleavage, private parts or is sexually provocative. >> i had no idea that was in the dress code. >> reporter: he is proposing taking out those words and replacing them with excessive amount of bare skin. >> i tnk it is semantics. >> i understand we have to be sensitive and i'm glad pple are trying to be sensitive but it does seem like semantics to me.
