the call came in into d.c. police about 1:40 or so this morning. hocide detectives as well as crime scene investigators were called to this scene.th r focus has been throughout the morning this shell gas station here at southern a wheeler. also, a driveway right across they foundwhere several shell casings on the ground. it also appears there was no confrontation leading up to the shooting, so they are now focused on figuring out what sparked all of this. i do want to take you now t a map showing you the three shootings that d.c. police are no investigating. five men shot in this span. the first shootin coming in 11:48 last night. two men shot at stanton road in southeast. they were conscious when they were found by authorities. the second one, this onehere, about s 40 trning at southern avenue here in southeast. one man shot, and also a third now at ivan hoe street southwest. authorities say their injuries appear to be non-fe-threatening.

're told that footage will be released after it's reviewed by the u.s.toey's office. this morning there is a break in the cold case of an arlington woman who vanished 30 ago.s marta rodriguez disappeared in 1989. three years later a set of human remains turned up along i-95 in stafford county. new dna tests now confirm those remains belong to rodriguez. the details of her andisappearae death are still unknown. her ex-husband jose rodriguez cruz is currently in jail after leading police to where he said he dumped pamela butler's body. she was vered -- discovered from -- she disappeared from her district home back in 2009. both scenes were just miles apart on i-95.

they reportedly date back to the early 1990s, though, and may be too old to be prosecuted. the los angeles county district attorney's office is reviewing the ce now. there are new details about the allegations but stallone denies that. meanwhile, los angeles police are investigating those claims of elder abuse involving comi object book writer stan lee. they granted a restraining order against the95-year-old former business manager. tia morgan isus a of separating lee from his family, moving lee from his home, and king advantage of his failing hearing, vision, and judgment. morgan wasd arreste monday for making a false 911 call. he claimed there wer burglars in the house. it was actually people conducting a welfare check on lee. a big legal shake-up for ,resident trump's former personal attorn michael cohen, currently at the center of an fbi investigation. nbc news confirmed that is low cohen's legal team is leaving the case. the move sparks speculation that he will cooperate with pros utors, but sources close to the case say that cohen hasn

last year in the middle of practice a gunman turned that baseball field into a chaotic crime scene asawmakersrepare for today, last year's events are not far from their mind. >> every one o us has a different version of that story. you know, what i went through was one thing, but each of you went tough something similar or different. >> house gop whip steveli scase posted this video on twitter. four people, including him, were shot that day. he spent the last year covering from his near fatal injuries. we'll have a live report from nats park and more on the game coming up. 6:34 now. some breaking news now. the national weather service is going to be inre wilkes-b pennsylvania, today. they are trying to tell whether a tornado caused the damage you see here overnight. we just got the new video inag showing d in daylight. the storm took down several power lines and flipped trucks and left debris strewn across the area. at least 8,000 customers were left without power there.

right now police are working to find out more about several overnight >> news 4 justin finch in southeast d.c. now. the latest on this violence. justin, good morning. >> aaron, good morning. one of those scenes was right here a southern avenue and wheeler road here in southeast. d.c. police were focused on this shell station here as well as just across the street here at this driveway near another bus stop here. they found several shellinasings in the street there. homicide detectives and crime scene investigators spent hours here shutting down this stretch for their vestigation.
