the national park service is beginning a multi milon dollar rehab project to make sure we enjoy it in years to come. ris lawrence tells us what to expect. >> reporter: the problem with th lincoln memorial to ame honer f you've noticed more than a few leaks after some of our recent rainstorms. look at the scfolding. is is the back side. the work today is not only fixing some of the marble, but really focusing on that roof 37 it's not like replacing the roof on your home, though. this has several layers. eachil of the or shingles wehs about 85 pounds. that has been the real issue over the past few years water leaking down into the memorial and caung damage. this is why getting that roof on, the new roofoin is to be a major part of this rehabilitation process. >> the biggest failu we've seen of the roof over the last
