as peter alexander pointed out, theepwolican key votes, susan collins and lisa murkowski both backed him for the federal bench. this is somebody we haven't seen initial opposition from him. susan collins doesn mention roe versus wade, which is one of her critical items. if mitch mcconnell, the republican leader, can keep them on board he can get the 50 votes he need. one person to kee an eye on is rand paul. there may be concern about theor judge's for the bush administration, t iraq war torture, those kind of things. for democrats, red state democrats areghtill in a t position. they are signaling they are going to try to fight this by focusing on health care arguing this judge, if he becomes a justice, might jeopardize iopeople's prote for pre-existing conditions under the affordable care act. >> casey williams on the hill,

it's in its final stage. faster than ever, the first boy freed today in just six hours, record time. more planses, divers and air tanks in this final push, more urgency than ever. tw saight days of success, so many boys out have raised hopes and ris say divers of exhaustion or complacency. four of these boys, we don't know which, spent a 17th night in the cave with their coach and with three divers and a doctor. for a successful rescue, all o them have to get out. we think we'll do it today, says the commande 100% success. but they are escaping an underground nre two miles long. the boys wearing face masks for o hours, clinging to a guide rope, and almost under an elite diver, another behind. one passageway so tight, tve

it seemed impossible a week ago. here they are now daring to believe that all 12 boys come out alive. >> just on the verge of celebration here. how tough was this kin of final phase of the rescue, bill? >> reporter: oh, gosh, hoda, it may have been very tough for those boys watch their friends leave. last night in that cave, it must have felt very lonely and very empty. the commander at the beginning said the healthieat would first. the uld be these boys are most vulnerable. on the other hand, rescuers have this down to a fine art. the firstoy came out this morning in half the time of the very first boy who was rescued exactly a week since they were discovered this t day they have all been waiting for. they went into the cave together. it does now look, whisper it quietly, like they will all be back together soon. >> hewow. >> divers are so incredible. i guess practice makes perfect. as bill says, not until we know

for sure. >> thank you, bill. >> we'll keep an eye on it. as the rescues play out, the eyes on the recovery. jan janis, good morning. >> reporter: they have been taken from an isolatedave t isolation unit where the doctors say they are at risk but they are at least safe. they have scratches, fever, and signs of hypothermihypothermia. overall the boys rescued fm the cave so far are in remarkably good health. doctors say they will be quarantined here for up to a week because of high risk of i infection. for now they will see them through windows but cannot touch them. these poise are healthy and strong, says the doctor. they are up and doinghings themselves. it was against odds they were

paren parents. this woman from el salvadort old abe gut wrenching moment she said good-bye to her son and daughter more than a month ago. >> when do you think you'll be reunder? i don't know, she says. the govnment ordered them to reunite children younger than five with their family todaus thece department said only two children had been reunited so far and 54 of the 102 kids are expected to be reunited today. among t government's reasons for not reuniting families, the parents have criminal records or couldn't beed veri the aclu said there's another reason it's taking so long. >> the government didn't track these families. they separated thesechildren, took them away for months, but didn't have clear records about which children belonged to which parents. >> the department of health and human serces saidt now has 3,000rpeparated chi in its custody. the judge had ordered children five and oldere reunited by

step out of college and say i've got this huge loan. if you want to sta chipping at it, how do you start. >> first you haveo figure o federal loans or private loans, because the steps to take are different. let's start with the federal ones. loans come with a ten-year repayment plan. if you h candle that or come close to handle that, you should pretty muchtick wit. the interest rates are fairly low. they are graduated repayment options that still take ten years, so you could start with a slightly lower payment and ratchet it up if you think yourg salary is g up. that's one good option. >> i think often people have a ton of bills and people say that's the last i'm going to take care ofy must and pay what i can. >> if that is your scenario and you truly can't hanoue it, want to look at income-based reenyment. that e the number of years that you're going to have to pay off these loans to0 or 25, but it caps the amount of money you
