outgoing prince george's county ceo a has stru severance deal and could receive nearly $800,000 in csh plu benefits. the school board is expected to vote on this package in a meeting that is now under news 4 broke the news back in may that dr. kevin maxwell was ading the school district. his tenure plagued with scandals. the teachers union had argued against giving him a pricey severance package because some of thoissues. maxwell still has not initially stepped down from his position. we'll be monitoring the board of education meeting and once an official vote has been made on the deal we'll letou kno right here on news 4. leon? thanks, erika. the brutality of emmett till's murder is largely seep ac atalyst that spurred people to action inspiring the civil rights vement. till was just 14 when he was killed. his body now the justice department is reoping the case. till was accused of whistling

stairs and placed on a stretcher, and this is h it all happened. the woman seen here in a purple jacket helped to the bethesda escalator which wasn't operating at the time. it was functioning as stairs, more or less. she carefully starts to walk down. this iskehat it looks li from the top of the bethesda escalators. it can be diying, about ten stories down. these are are some of the longest escalators in fact in theesternemisphere. now the details about what exactly happened are still a little bit etchy, but hentgomery county fire and rescue says t woman may have been bumped. that's when she fell backward and went all the down to the platform, all the way down the metro says it doesn't have video of the actual fall, but in this video you c see a rider alerting a metro official. another man on his cell phone quickly calls for help as a crowd gathers near the top of the escalators and eventually montgomery fire and rescue
