we have new information tonight about that tragedyth on tracks. a csx train hit and killed two young wom were walking along the train's path in germantown last night. today we learned the victims are 30-year-old christina segovia and 25-year-old dianna peralta. tonight a friendf f one oe victims contacted us and she believes the women were on the track shooting something for social media. police are looking into the tragedy as a death investigation. they say the train operator saw the women, sounded his horn, and slammed on the brakes. >> we are just 24 hours away now from a big shutdown on metro's red line. it will mean big changes to the way riders get around at least till labor day. saturday will be thenn beg, of 45 days of improvements from the gallaudet station to fort tott totten. take the green line tott fort from gallery place.
