>> for a lake, they were pretty big. >> jenny and dav carr were having dinner on a nearby when she started shooting the scene as it unfolded. >> i would say within five, ten minutes at the most, all the coast guard was coming, policet were e, ambulance, fire trucks. they just kept coming and coming. >> reporter: emergency crews om multiple agencies located the sunken vessel and were able to pull some survivors outf the water. at least 11 people died. somef the victims were children. >> this is a very tough night for us. it's going to be a l for a lot of people. >> reporter: families of the victims gathering at the townll overnight. authorities offering them mental health support. >>yhis is a rea tough situation, and it's gut-wrenching. we justanted to help out in any way possible. >> reporter: ripley entertainment, the company that owns the tour boats, released ar statement ght, writing in part, "this incident has deeply us.cted all of we will continue to do all we

was all choppy and wavy, so i went over to look out the window, and as everybody else. andoohen wed to our left, and that's when we t seen duck. and then we seen another one coming, but the one that sunk, it was hing trouble. you could tell that it couldn't go very fast. he kept sinking down in the water a little bit. th waves went over the top of it. so, i videoed it as much as i could for as long as before it went behind the show boat, and that's where it sank, and i didn't see any of that. >> and i undstand that someone on your boat, one of the crew members had said, well, these kind ofs, bo these duck boats, they can withufand this you know, they're going to be just fine. is that what you were thinking? s thahat the person had said, but i knew better, just theay that the wat was, the

trouble it was having. i knew something was going to happen to it. >> as i understand it, some people on the show boat that you were on tried ton jump the water and tried to help rescue people. it must have been terrifying. >> yeah. first, we really didn't realize that it had sunkd hen when all the crews started running andhe captain was giving orders to all the crew to get the life vests and to get outhere and help them, then erybody kind of -- we cried a little bit. i went to a window, as i was looking out watching, and i prayed and i cried. just really, there wasn't nothing you could do. the crew did a really good job of trying to get everybody out that they could get ou >> and jennie, when you heard about the death toll, when learned about just how tragic this was and realized that you had actually captured that on
