team 4 radar. tonight, most of us under a flood warning now. i'm erika gonzalez. let's get right to somara theodore who begins our live taxpayer team ce. >> right now, many areas just added to that flood warning. while everyone's under a flash flood watch, some of us are under a warning. let's take a lk at the m so i can detail that. here's a look, that darker, evergreen shade, that means every one of us isnder a flash flood watch through tonight. but if you look at the lighter green, anne undel county into the district and down int northern virginia,a spotsylva and stafford county, all under a flood warning. the times v a bit, 11:00 p.m. east of 95, farther south tomorrow morning. looking at theno radar you can see why.

check this out. it's looming through time here. its progression is moving nanth west. so where rain was lighter, it's getting heavier. we are sing some of this start to fizzle out the farther south you go. but it's been coming down and be for a n of hours. that's prompted the flood warnings. as you can see, where we're looking ahe orange, the yellow, and the deep reds, that heavier rain has now shifted west of 95. down towarm. prince will they are picking up some very heavy rain. i'm going to check on the accumulations thereust a moment. but areas like spotsyeeania, have five-plus inches of rain. as we move through the couple days, we're not seeing any reprieve. that chance for showers and storms, all the way through st top of next week, and it's going to be widespread. everyone's going to get a shot at more rain. in your headl i'll be tracking another system moving in for your sunday, thec half of your weekend. as a result, we could be in for

where some of the heaviest rain is falling. southern frederick county. and then you head down into northern virginia from fairfax into loudoun, parts of prince william county, seeing some of the heaviest rain at the moment. we take a look at accumulation here. i meant to have my numbers on, but just note, where you're t seei deeper oranges, that's about five to six inches of rain. so some spots, we were expecting this localized, five-plus inches of rain over the past 12 hours. in prince george's county, three inches of rain plus has fallen. it's not dry yet. we're sti accumulating at this point. as can you see here, they've extended this flood warning. itially until 8:45 for stafford and spotsylvania county, about you nbut now the region, including the district of columbia, down into virginia, anne arundel county, prince george's county all under that flood warning. we're not going tore catch a very soon. this is 1:00 a.m. on the future

cast. we're finally startinto dry out in the d.c. metro area. some rain still lingering, ough, along the pennsylvania/maryland border. we push forward in time, 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning, notice the breaks in the clouds. that means we'll get some sunshine in here tomorrow morning, but it's short-lived. the clouds move back in. lunch time, another rain from a different system hitting us from the west. we're talking about showers this time and thunderstorms. so tomorrow wille pretty active in the afternoon. a little bit more scattered in bture. the good newsause it won't be raining non-stop all day, you'll get some breaks to get out there and g things done. another major impact that the rain and clouds have had on us, look at the current temperatures. 61s, degr near the upper 50s in the summer, 64 in gaithersburg, 70 in the district. tomorrow we'll start to see some improvements inhe numbers, just not the weather. around 80 tomorrow afternoon. again, very damp to start with,
