tornado. it's a very ort-lived warning, for sure. if yu live anywhere north of 66, falls church, be on t lockout, stay pu stay outside. there's a small indication of some rotation. this is doppler radar indicated. you' aint of a rotation in ourn weather pattern. putting it into motion here, that's going the continue northbound into faiax without, at toward southern montgomery county for you. the rain is intense. the's no doubt abo the fact that it is coming down in buckets out there right now.

right now, twin wildfiresg rag through popular seaside areas in athens. these fires have now killed at least 49 people and me than 150 others, including some children, being hospitalized for injuries. hundreds of people have even forced tuate, navy boats and yachts. and the spanish government says it has sent two planesp to h fight the fires. as you wake up, we are dealing with a serious weather taking a live look right now out in northern virginia. we're going to check back in we're going to check back in with chuck and!

i knowe will hav flooded roadways. please, be careful. g reports about fairfax station. we're gettingatain an inch or two hour, with that produced the tornado warning. strong storms, one to two inches per hour. once the rain left the area, what we're looking at, flood warning that stretches down to prince william county, all through the western side of the beltway and up through montgomery county. 1 to 3 inches possible. not just today but through the day tomorrow. we couldee fivenches of rain in the next 48 hours. of course, heavy rain out there today. we're seeing it, with some fog, as well the visibility is cut down quite a bit. be on the lookout for flooded roadways. some of them may n beut off because some of the local law enforcement may not have gotten to them yet.
