given all the rain the past several days. the roads not looking too bad. i can tell you, the neighborhood streets, you might want to look out for ponding and flooding out there. but the highways andbyways so far have not been that bad. more rain is coming and drivers should be on guard for that. make sure you're aware of the conditions outside as you're making your way to work this morning, guys. back to you in the newsrom. >> thanyou, justin. the tornado warning storm team 4 tracked for y live yesterday morning turned out to be an actual tornado. t> you can see some of the damage it l behind here on the athletic fields at the thomash jefferson hhool in alexandria. the batting cages twisted and mangled there. it was an ef-0 tornado with bonds around 70 miles per hour. you n was hurt. one d.c. firefighter is injured ter battling this fire in northwest d.c. thankfully, though, that okrefighter, we're told, is expected to be.

fire officials say it started on the rooftop deck of a bar and burned downward. the four-story bar is near the intersection of 73 and i. the company's prime minister describing a deadly wildfire as quote unspeakable. chris lawrence at the live desk with the latest on this tragedy in greece. chris? >> aaron, we've been watchi the images for days now. they're only getting worse. at least people have been killed by the flames. that number is expected to rite. inferno swept through a resort area near hens. crews are an a gruesome search through the chred holes and blackened cars to find the remains of anyone who couldn't outrun the flames and was iorrifically burned todeath. one man descrd the fire as some sort of flaming tidal wave. one father searching for his missing twin daughters. he spotted them alive tv news footage of people getting off a fishing boat that had come to rescue people.

the metro employee. that's when she pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed bond in the chest. the police chief says the employee may have a case for self-defense. no charges have beenl . new details now on a violent barricade si montgomery county. a mother is now in a shelter because she had nowhere e e go. her ex-boyfriend started a fire in her rental home while their n 3-year-old as inside. this is what it looked like after the violent confrontation monday night. we first brought you this story yesterday morning. he forced his way into that home, barricadedhimself inside and tossed burning objects out of the window. a police officer shot him as they entered the home to rescue the little boy. he is no expected t survive. the time right now is 4:36. famili whosurvived a massive apartment explosion two years ago are demanding more help for montgomery county. during a meeting last night, the survivors asked for mental health suprt and housing assistance. in august of 2016, seven people

of an inch at national airport.i the last eight days, we've had 8.5 inches of rain at national rport. dulles, another .75 inches. over 8 inches for the month and bwi marshall, oh, my goodness, another 4 inche of rain yesterday, bringing their monthly total to 15 inches rain. nearly 12 inches above average. been dog digging back through the climate records, so far not the rainnst month baltimore ever. but getting close. the rainiest ever, 18 inches back in august of 1955. there's still more than enrtgh opity now and the end of the month to get another 3 inches of rain at bwi marshal on average, 8 to 12 inches of rain. again, today, locally another 1 to 2 inches. not everyone is going to get an inch of rain but somebody sure is. there's more rain down to our south. that big push of tropical moisture coming up. we have a little break in the action here early this morning
