this is prince george's county here along queen anne's bridge road in bowi ay with us on air and online throughout the dafor complete coverage of the line of rain we're dealing with today and its impact on our area. now to a developing story here in the district. the search continues for a man who shot someone less than a block from d.c. police headquarters in northwest. >> this happened near the intersection of ahird d street near the tunnel. investigators closed the ramp ael searched the tu for evidence. even thou there was virginia-bound traffic in the rea, it's not clear what happened. no word on the victim's ndition. >> 10-year-old girl shot and killed outside her home in d.c. will be laid to rest. makiyah wilson died while walking to an iceream truck. we're told she died in her mother's arms. she was shot when four men jumped out of a car and started firing. appened on 53rd street nine days ago.

good morning. >> reporter: angie, you mentioned, a week and a half and still no arrests. as the murder of a 10-year-old girl, as if it wasn't enough. this community had a tough go of it. they're still reeling over all of this. today, though, they will say their final good-byes as makiyah wilson is laid to rest. her murder left the community outraged. four masked men jumped out of a car last monday randomly spraying bullets ifr apartment complex. five people were hit. makiyah died. the community and supporters of the 10-year-old's family have come together several times out of concern, sheer broken heart and a desire for justice. >> i'm hoping -- i hope justice comes real soon give them what they deserve.th baby didn't deserve that. this community didn't deserve that. >> reporter: the police have
