>> earlier this year they deleted half ailion objection and millions are out there and runing? these false accounts andn sto identities are having a real significant impact on users. what are you finding? >> we did an nbc news investigation on fake profiles and their proliferation which comes in the aftermath of cambridge analytica data scandal that plagued millions of users when it comes t their privacy and facebook is facing a pretty real world impact when it comes to their fans. they lost about $120 billion in value today o the stock market alone. so what we found is that these fake facebook pfiles continue to proliferate, and there's a lot of frustration from law enforcement to average users in getting in touch with facebook and getting these things fixed. so come out tonight on the "nightly news."
