n as coach dre. he coached for 15 years. >> i was stern, he was firm with them. honest withthem. but he can relate to them. they represented hill. we're going tom. miss >> reporter: friends and family say he was a talented sound pengineer. hisions were coping, music and his kids. cecilia willson is the motherf his youngest son. >> i'm grateful for this community for coming together to celebrate heandre. as an awesome person. he was a great father. >> reporter: many of his friendd relatives tell me they're comforted by the idea he died trying to help someone else. that was a testament to who he was. police s youngas shot on july 30th on 19th street just before 6:00 in the evening. family members and frien say he was shot while intervening in a domestic situation. a 23-year-old man was arrested in the shting. young's three sons describe him as a great dad. >> gave back. he helped people. that's all he ever did. i just want everybody to remember him as that.
