razors on him, which are on the prohibited items list. and police kept a watchful eyeh on group of demonstrators, they carried white pride sign silently marching through the streets. we have breaking news out of college park. the university of maryland football coach d.j. durkin now lo paid leave. that move f an explosive report by espn about abuse alletions surrounding the football program. dave johnson at the live desk with an update now dave? >> there's no question football, as you know, erika, is a bigpa of american culture, especially the college game, but it is the culture inside the university of maryland football program that is raising eyebrows after that espn report you referenced cal cd thatture toxic, and what should not be lost is the added scrutiny on maryland, after the ultimate loss. 19-year-old offensive lineman jordan mcnair died in the spring. he was hospitalized for two weeksfter taking part in a

team rkout ataryland. he suffered from a heatstroke in june. there is no evidence yet the culture at the maryland proayam a role in mcnair's death, but an external review in investigating his death expressed concern in his words about mediaeports and allegations of unacceptable behaviors by members of the maryland football staff. now, also in the statement, evans said you will be hearing fr me, as our work continues to rebuild the culture of respecoo in ourall program. the words of maryland athletic director david evans. evans also announced offensive coordinator matt canadarv will as interim coach while durkin is on leave. a point of fact, hardly seems significant rightnow. beyond, this is the line that we're looking at here. so south of this line and along thise we may still see some showers and thunderstorms fire up. north of this line, fairfax, washington, i'm not too worried, but down to the south, fredericksburg, you may see more over the next few hours. hopefully, though, things will settle down a bit. take a look at the widerot not much around the area. this system, this storm system, you can see a little spin in the atmosphere here, but what that tells us i most of the activity tomorrow may stay to our south. take a look. he we are at 11:00, here's stuff towards the eastern shore. watch tomorrow morning at k, most of us on the dry side. more cloud cover early, but then some sunshine during the afternoon. couple of bshowers, most of the area dry. same deal around 3:00. d.c. to the south, though, a better chance of showers and couple of thunderstorms. notice by 6:00 the srms areo the south again. d.c., waldorf, down towards the fredericksburg area, but most n areath stay on the drier side. ost of us may stay dry tomorrow.
