units found their suspect hiding in the attic insulation at friend's house. it all started hours earlier when a patroler off saw kyle sunday driving down one of the ldin streets with his 2-year son in his lap. she tried to pull him over. instead of pulling over, sunday took off on foot carrying his son, and when he got t this creek, he tossedhe little boy down the embankment and into the water. luckily an officer w close behind. >> he discontinue pursuing mr. sunday and then pulled the child from the water. >> reporter: to make matters more confusing, not long after that in an apparenem att to cover for sunday his girlfriend called police to say her car had been serlen with child inepde. police k their focus on finding sunday and eventually learned he had fled to this house. they went into the attic, sending up a warren county sheriff's office canine that happened to live across the sunday was arrested. by that time, his girlfriend and the toddler were t on scene.
