right now, we've live on the scene of a homicide in d.c. it's one of several attacks in the district this weekend including one that injured a child. take a live look outside. it's been a nice sunday. our meteorologist i tracking a weather change. and developing tonight, more heartache for people in indonesia after yet another deadly earthquake slams one of the islands. good evening, everybody. our top story tonight, rash of deadly violence in the district this weekend has left two men dead and a teenager recovering from a gunshot wound. news 4 darcy spencer is live avenue inher southeast where one of the victims lost his life early this

morning. darcy? >> erica, so far ts yearhere have been 99 homicides in the district. that is a 33 increase over this time last year. the latest oneapning here on southern avenue early this morning. now police say that they were flagged down here in the 3900 block of southern avenue. that was about 1:30 a.m. they found aan suffering from gunshot wounds. he later died at the hospital. he was keith douglas. he was 35 years old and lived in southeast washington. this was the second murder just this weekend here in the district. a man was stabbed to death on rhode island avee in northeast. that happened about 4:30 yesterday morning. the victim was identified as franklin buyers. he was also 35 years old and had no fixed address. so fa there is not an arrest in either one of the homicides. d.c. police off $25,000 in ward money in help in solve

offisolveing th ae cases. >>15-year-old boy is recovering from a gunshot wound. he was shot this morning in northeast near kennelworth avenue. no word on any suspects. we're learning details about that deadly plane crash in carol county, maryland. the ntsb is on the scene interviewing witnesses. the ultra light plane crashed shortly after keoff landing in a soy bean field. the pilot and another man onboard died. this was the scene yesterday. the ntsb doesn't know why the plane crashed. a preliminaryec report expted in the next few weeks. all right. in other news tonight, we hope younjoyed you sunday because we cannot guarantee a lot of sunshine in the days to come. storm team 4 meteorologist joins us with more on that. >> yeah. little ng to be a unsettled to start the week. but major improvements come towards the middle of t week. it will take time to warm up.

we're following a story overseas. two powerful earthquakes rattled a tourist island. can you hear the screams as parents grab the children and run into the streets in the next video. he 6.3 mall agnitude quake hit early this morning. it damaged buildings. no reports of fatalities now. this happened hours after another powerful earthquake struck theisland. residents are still rattled and earlier this month that killed 460 people. we are getting a new look at what it was like moments before ae structure collat a back street boys concert in oklahoma. fans waiting for that concert to start cowering under umbrellas as severe weather rolled through. this was at winstar. they warned people to fin shelter but those warnings were

ignored. 14 people were hurt when strong gusts knocked over a metal structure. the concert had to be canceled. storm team 4 reached out to the national weather service. meteorologists there think wind gusts were around 50 miles an hour. authorities in alabama are releasing dramatic body cam footage of aiery rescue. >> hang on to me. grab on to me. come on. >> this was taken back in early july by the local police department. two officers were called in for a structure fire and when they arrived, the officers found flames sing from the roof. erth of the off went in to action saving two people who were trapped inside. e cit council later recognizing the officers for their heroic actions. irginia state house leaders are warning people to stay out of parts of lake anna. they're worried about harmfulga bloom in the lake in
