soon as weea more. this caused traffic disruptons in the distr and northern virginia. atv and dirt bike rider ripped through the streets yesterday. they could be seen popping wheeli, weaving in and out of traffic. e rider crashed into a light pole. atvs are legal in the district and there's a no-chase policy so the cops couldn't go after them. arlington police say n arrests were made. we have new details of the deadly plane flash carroll county, manied phd. thentsb says they learned that plane crashed short after it took off landing in a soy bean field. the pilot and another man on board did die. the ntsb does not know why the

plane crashed at this point. a preliminary report is expected in the next few weeks. right now d.c. police are trying to find a person who shot and killed a man this weekend. police sayne this happed on southern avenue in southeasterly yesterday morning. the victim is identified as dokeith uglas. he died at the hospital. police tell news 4 this was the district's99th homicide this year. a 15-year-old is recovering from a gunsh wound. the teenage boy was shot yesterday afternoon at 4th and pond street near kenilworth avenue. no word on a potential suspect or motive. the university of maryland football season will start in less than two weeks.th school is hoping -- onev saturdayal gathered at the school. head coach d.j. durkin was not there. offensive lineman jordan mcnair died in june after suffering a
