undergoes repairs. that came from the interim ceo last night at the first school board meeting of the school year. a recent test for mold came back showing mold levels here had surfaced. this is after some two dozen fans were edrepa after a previous test found mold on campus. several solutionsere explored. but the best one they came to was moving classes for the coming school year to the oldre ville high school. she says that will give crews here time and space to focus on making repairs to the air condition and venlation system here. one mother says, finally, because she saysonditions here at district heights had gotten so dire, she took matters into her own hands. >>ulled them out last year. i refuse to go in the building. we have some issues. it's because of the school.

at the time. the school bus driver, along with a mother and ild in a separate car was taken to the hospital. d thver of the out-of-control car was arrested for nnc having insu we have good news for metro riders this morning. metro is ahead of schedule with repairs that prompted a 45-day shutdown of the red line. for the last few weeks, the shutdown has closed the rhode island avenue d brooklyn stations. the uneven platform made it difficult for riders in wheelchairs to enter the train. instead of demolishi entire platform and rebuilding it, metro says it lowered the rails and blocks to achieve a smooth surface. the platfo had chupg chunks of concrete fall off of it in the past. that's been corrected, as well. >> all of the work is progressing on or ahead of plan. we're in great shape to return this area to service o september 4th. riders have to wait until y'ptember for the station to
