>> for the second time in a week pedestrian has been killed along georgia avenue in wheato >> it happened this morning shutting down the load for hours.he it's where latest investigation is this morning. what can you tellus? >> reporter: well, there was one man who lived in the area who woke this morning, saw what was happening and his reaction was not again. you can see it's now open in oth directions but it wa closed during rush hour this morning as police investigated d fataltrian accident. this all happened around 4:00 a.m. manas struck by a car on the south side of georgia avenue near the intersection. it appears he was thrown quite a distance landing at the corner. driver of the car did stop and was here when police arrived.

this is the third fatal accident on georgia avenue in the wheaton peea in a little less than two weeks. le say it's a dangerous stretch of road. there's lots ofnd cars lots ofde rians. >> i see pedestrians trying to get across the street any way they can and the car is traveling quickly. >> are you surprised this happened? >> it's happened in other places along this road and other places montgomery county too. people trying to cross outside of crosswalks and that's dangerous. r >>eporter: whether the victim was in the crosswalk or not is part of the i venvestigation. there's an s that's spray painted. that's where his shoes were. he was found on the other side of the intersection. one thing investigators are going to be keen to look avether

for two student athletes who were accused of sexual misconduct. the school says it happened last august and was a violationerf unsity protocol. the president's office found oue whep when the athletic department got a bill. they told anderson to cut ties with the attorney but months later anderson had not followed that order. the university said the decision to hire this lawyer showed a serious lack of judgmen in sexual misconduct case. given the university's commitment tor a f and impartial handling of all such matters. a prince george county elementary school will not see any students this year. >> officials say a mold problem means the not safe for class. >> reporter: good morning. there won't be any school here

in september on the first day of school. b there will n any school at all for the coming school year.b students wil bussed to a new location for the school year. the plan is for during that time for crews to a get insid do work and make repairs to get rid of that recurring mold. district heights elementary teacher and sta heading to their cars friday morning. some with hands full bound for a new claom off campus. come the official start of school in september, youel l won't see much car traffic here anymore. oater the ceo announced this at thursday's school meeting. >> the best option was for us to move the students from district eights elementary school to forestville high school on the school. t day of >> reporter: what's the plan to get students to and from forestville high school. realizing most students here are walkers, they will have buses

pick them up at assigned points every day to get them to and from their classes. they will alter the bell schedule to accommodate this new change as well. this swift shift into bussing students more than a mile away to forestville highw comes afte recent testing turns up super bowls mold had resurfaced. back in spring 2017, news 4 borst told you parents, students and staff come plaapli about mold and dproobreathing problems. some 14 ventilatione fans w repaired. classes there resumed but this time the interim ceo says students and staff won't be back until the wor is finished that mold is gone and the school is deemed safe. >> i feel frustrated. i'm angry. i'm also happy that we have a riw ceo that care enough for our
