however, the cardinal was also met with applause and expressions of support from the parishioners as he concluded his remarks. this sentiment was echoed as he greeted the faithful who approached him and expressed thr prayers and support after mass, end quote. an urgent search will continue tomorrow for a germanytown man who went missing last night on the eastern shore. 50-year-old george barnes went out on a boat yesterday from the yacht basin, which on the northern part of the eastern shore. officials say barnes was on the boat with several friends and at one point they jumped into the sassafras river for a swim. and barnes has been missing ever since. barnes is a personal trainer and a husba of a montgomery county police officer. and there is a frantic search for a woman who was swept awayer by floodw in harford county north of baltimore. she stopped toelp people who car was stuck on a bridge due to high water. the woman got out to help and o was sweptr the bridge. first responde have rescued two dozen people this week after

72 still in leesburg, not quite as bad in some of the western suburbshere some fog will start to formulator on during the nighttime hours. we'll see that moisture causing some of those clouds and some of the fog in our future weather. but by tomorrow afternoon, just an isolated thunderstorm or two will pop up in the daytime heating. this time of atmosphere, you don'get a lot of thunderstor activity. same thing for tuesday afternoon. one or two thunderstorms could pop up in the heat adi hu. the whole pattern being dominated by a big area of high pressure on the eastern seaboard, which has now consolidated itself quite nicely. so it's generating the heat. it's keeping it here. it's also keeping the humidity in place. it's also keeping the next bront held a in the nation's midsection in the upper midwest. there is cool weather behind that front. fall-like weather behind that ut front, it never really quite gets here until maybe this time earlyext week athe earliest. the pattern is going to be very slow to change. so just a slight chance of that isolated thunderstorm monday and sesday. even lhan a slight chance
