we have continuing to follow breaking news in falls church. a w ban was hit a car on arlington boulevard overnight. it was an accident tha led to lane closures and an investigation that lasted until sunrise. >> molette green has been working her sources at the what are you hearing about what happened?>> this intersection is back open. what we saw was fairfax county police really taking their time with the accident investigation. when we arrived a striking vehicle, aoya camera was still on the scene, with obvious front end damage to the left ntside of the f of the vehicle. police say woman pedestrian was attempting to cross when that car hit her. and theimpact tossed her to the other side. she suffered critical injuries in this. all of this happening in the 3:00 a.m. hour. there was a witness who was able to tell police what happened.
