torrential downpours. we could see waterpouts and brief gusty winds. wen as it moves to the gulf of mexico whereer temperatures are about 90 degrees, this could strengthen into a tropical system. it would be named gordon if it does. wi have warnings posted across the gulf coast from mobile, alabama, right into the western coast of siana. there's an 80% chance of this developing into a tropical system. even if it never takes on a name, there's still a lot of rain and wind. although it is forecastap to pe strengthen into a tropical storm by tuesday orningg and by wednesday it should make landfall somewhere possibly to the northeast of neworleans. but that will certainly adjust as we get closer in time. thent will move in over land and then weaken. we're lookg for as much as 2, 3, 4, 5 inches of rain from the system. we could see oo storm surge of
