2019 school year, the commonwealth of virginia has revoked or cancelled the licenses of more than 500 virginia teachers sce 2000. about 170 maryland teachers lost their licenses, things have changed in that state. >> after our i teamreports, the maryland department of education began posting the names of alls teachom whom it's revoked a license from misconduct. there's a link in the bottom ndght, you click on it,ou will see all of the names of those teachers and the school districts in which tey worked and the dates the licenses were revoked. maryla does not have one of those online portals, which you can check the license of all the other teachers in this state, for that, you have to e-mail or call the state department of education itself. the same for d.c. parents there's no online search for license in d.c. either. instead, requiring a call or e-mail to the da superintendent. >> it takes a lot to g someone's license revoked.
