what are you seeing right now? >> well, some good news out here being that the flood water has receded. take a look though you can kind see where the water was, though. dirt and debris on the sidewalks out here. a little bit further down king street you can see sandbagsut o here right in front of that fron door protecting that store from that potential flooding that could have moved through here. i want to take you, though, to some video here from yesterday showing you what it was like after the pomac overflowed. that heavy rain moved through here and it did swamp thisarea. everyone was caught by surprise. there was so much r,wa the fire rescue got their boats to get some people out oar way and get others just to their cars. it was just a real sight to see. >>e have been here almost 15 years and this is t first time

>> so for us, we're going to be continuing to watch florence. get finished with what's left of gordon's rains first but florence will be a major concern later on in the week. if you have friends or families that liveac ss eastern north carolina or southern virginia, the best thing to do is tell them to be getting ready for it now. some of the best things can do this far in advance and this goes for our area as well, startll gettinghe storm drains cleared out. getting any loose debris secured in the garage. that kind of uf have their prescription medications and refill ready to case they have to leave and can take their medicines with them. the real problem with this storm is in addition to the powerhouse of a landfall, the latest thinurng from thecane center is the storm comes inland
