illegally opening up fire hydrants. last night, police arrested a suspect but not before six more hydrants were opened, including four inside the third street tunnel. now more on how police caugh the man and how the suspect may have been urging others to do the same thing. >> reporter: things like th have been happening more frequently over the last week or po. someone opening u fire hydrant, mostly in northeast d.c. this one sent water rushing into this grocery store. then last night it happened again including fr fire hydrants inside the third street tunnel. and those hydrants weren't the only ones opened up last ght. one right by this walmart was also opened up. it actually flooded part of the store. but then police spotted the suspect. >> we actually got a tip from a community member who photographed the suspect. and then once our officers saw
