today. they were trying to show a meticulous timeline of events leading up to the murders. it wak haunting video in the days after thee murders. irst time jurors got a look inside the home. while many watched i horror, darren, the only suspect charged, showed no emotion when the footage swed the charred bedroom and burnedro coils a box spring. only thing left of a bed where the 10-year-old phillip was found. the prosecution started the day by calling amy's father, james martin, to the witness stand, in what was an emotional start to the day. martin was followed by several other witnesses including the director of reservation that a pet boarding company, a business that the family used frequently to board their two thdogs. woman testified that on may 13th, the day the family and their housekeeper were held e, hoster staff called the home at 3:14 to confirm their upcoming reservation for the

dogs, but theirlandline phone was disconnected. throughout the day, voice messages we left on amy's cell phone, but it was not until n55 thht when amy called the receptionist back. she described amy a snding sleepy. she was rushing. this time, was different. prosecutors say amy was being held hostage at the time of the call. earlier that day at 3:25, a neighbor testified she saw amy walking in a nice outfit nea calvert and cleveland near northwest saying she was in a knee-length skirt, flat shoes, sweater across her shoulder, and a nice leather bag. she had her head down deep in gh hou clearly walking to get somewhere. but the defense team tried to dilute the neighbor's testimony by showing the jury surveillance videof amy and her son, phillip, from six hours earlier in the day. she was wearing a different outfit with a different bag. it was one way the defense tried

it's called a major hurricane at category 3 for a reason. that's when you see major damage to buildings and that's the kind of thing we're expecting to see along the coast from th surge and very heavy rainfall that they see down there. >> areas like wilminroon, north na to myrtle beach, south carolina picking up impressive amounts of rainfall, flooding there will be catastrophic for the areas. >> absolutely. next couple days bad for them. for us at home, we start with recast.al guys, i want to show you this. we have a flood warning now in parts of montgomery county, talking about this for an hour. and that's exactly what's been happening here. i want t zoom in. first off, this storm right here, in and around the d.c. me metro area on6 here to 29 along 16th ue and street very heavy rainfall in the district right now and further north and west around rockville, down to a trican legion bridge and the falls, we saw the rain for the better portion of two hours now because

that. national weather service issued a flood warning here. stat flood warning for creeks and ams, watch out, remember, turn around, don't drown. we'll continue to se rain here over the next hour or so. all of the boundary moving in. it's not relative or related to hurricflorence, however. hurricane florence now making its way towards the east coast, and, ain, re, only about 400 miles away. the eye looking a ltle ragged at the moment. that's showing you the weakening that it's seeing here.bl that's pos good news, but it does not matter. when a storm weakens like that, it enlarges the wind field just a little bit, and the stronger it is, the tighter the field so you weaken the storm a little bit, the hurricane force winds extend further out. right now, 120 miles per hour storm with windswe moving north at 16, on the track close to wilmington, north carolina and outer banks by friday night or by tomorrow night into the day on friday as a category 3 storm and moving south towards myrtle beach, another pattern, and up and around by monday still out towards the
