hydrants in the third street tunnel. it's a safety concern, it's a hazard. it's illegal. >> reporter: a fire hydrant fldedhis walmart store. that's when police made the arrest. >> we actually got a tip from a community member who photographed the suspect. then once our officerve rec that information, we were able to stop him shortly thereafter and identify him. >> reporter: the suspect is a 34-year-old who had a 14-inch wrench when he was arrested. he has been charged in connection with one of the illegal fire hydrant openings. lice say they are investigating whether he is responsible for the others. in august, before someone stted opening hydrants, neighbored in other pars of the city reported a man opening up their watersp ots. on august 1, a person from california just like the suspect, posted this on facebook. anyone that is a human in the usa suld open their front yard hose on full blast now.
