let's roll some video. yellow evidence markers sit out the asian american chinese restaurant on p street. police tell me the man stabbed a woman on the sidewalk. she stumbled into the restaurant, collapsing, unconscious, not breathing. people inside called for help. the man tookff running down 11th street. tonight, the woman is at a hospital. the plus chief tells me she's in grave condition. >> shomari, we don't have a lot ght now. a little bit before 8:00, we had an adult female w h was oute in the area. apparently she was stabbed very, very seriously. >> reporter: now, police have not released the woman's name or age. they are questioning people outside here. and they say there were witnesses, there were people outside here on this nice tuesday evening when they heard this woman screaming, stumbling into the restaurant. police chief newsham urges anyone with information, if you saw what happened, call d.c. police. meanwhile, again, they are lking to people at the bar
