students using this path to walk by a nearby middle school they found the body of what appears to be an adult male lying on that path. the kids continued to the school and reported what they found. this was about 7:30 this mornsg. the trailsed by a lot of people in the area, so they don't think that this person had been there long. >> the bike path is used by a lot of people, it feeds into different neighborhoods and also leads to the back of the school so it is used quite often. >> so you don't think the body was there long? >> we don't think the body has been there that long. all right and so investigators still trying toigure out exactly what happened here. the body we're told had signs of trauma to the lower body, but it did not appear to be 69 nature of stab wounds or gunshot wounds. but they wouldn't give any additional information, just to say that there was trauma to the lower body. and they are not going to say more untilhey get the results from the medical examiner. so a lot ofnanswered questio

shooting thursday morning. moslsnochia moseley killed thre people a t injuredee others at the rite aid distrerution centnd then killed herself. somef her co-workers describe running for their lives, otheri had to h to escape the bullets. one employee said that the argun went off randomly shooting people. authorities have not confirmed that account and are still searching for a motive. this was the nation's third workplace shooting in a 24 hour span. wednesday four people were shot at a software company in wisconsin. later in the day, fourwe others shot at a municipal building south ofsb pigh. police stilled the shooters in both of those ---police killed the shooters iboth of those snint incidents. and in new york, five have been stabbed and three are newborn babies. of the children is in critical condition.

nine-year-old jack russell terrier that justoid us yesterday along with about 21 other dogs from the louisiana spca. >> and why did you get dogs from louisiana? >> they are a transport partner of ours that we've worked with before to bring dogs and sometimes cats from high volume shelters to our local shelters where we have an easier time finding homes for them. >> so this is a normal thing. a lot of people sometimes when they look for animals, they don't realize that they might not be local. they are pulled out of other states that need help. >> we do as much as possible try to partner with our friends in other regions of the country where they have higher population of dogs and where they really struggle to find homes for as many as they can. so we do the transports as much as possible based on our space availability to give them a little bit of a relief valve. >> and how do you transport them? because i've seen the big van,

and also just people in their own personal vehicles. >> yeah, it depends on the group that we are working with. the folks from louisiana have their own transport vehicle and they drove through the night to get here. >> wow, that really is amazing. and during hurricane florence, when did you -- or where i should say did you take the animals from? >> so we reached out to some of our friends south of u the storm, early, early last week and actually the weekend prior to the storm to see if deey n any assistance, making space in their shelter so that they could the better respond to any displaced animals. >> and we got this them here in time and hopefullyhey find homes. what can people do to help who may want an animal or want to help with request tthe transpor? >> we're hoping that people adopt these guys. we have a very full shelter in both of our locations.

but if they are you will or can't take anymore animal there is to their own home, they can certainly donate to the rescue alliance and help support the programs that support pet owners and adopted animals. >> what if maybe says i want to help transport aanimal, can somebody volunteer? transportbuilding our program and hoping to expand our cape abiliabilitie so we are certainly looking for volunteers. we utilize them on a more local basis to move animals from our shelter to other shelters in the region, shorter drives, things like that. but yes, we arelways looking for help. >> awesome. and a lot of people again tprobably don't realizet the animals are coming from other state here that areooking for homes. and this guy is tired after the long drive. heas in a car for quite a while to get here, so now he is looking for a forever home.th k you so much for being here. and hopefully we'll find him a

i admire his ambition. he asks us to follow a lot of different story lines. four different families over different time lines, similar to "this is us "this is us." the new york couple is about to have a baby and then we cut ahead in time to watch their grown up daughter. and then we go over to spain and follow another young couple falling in love and finally we see their child back in new york city. so a lot to bite off. and i kind of dig the idea that everything happens for a reason. the idea is all of these people are stentewintertwined by one t event. but sort of the issue, the part that i don't think really works is that in order to get to that think take tragic event, thereo many bad things that has to happen to all these people. and almost a little sadistic. that we have to endid your so much pain so that the payoff of what ultimately brings them together again, i don't know if they actually -- i don't know if
