news 4. leon harris here at the live deskn the newsroom following developments in the brett vanaugh confirmation fight. today, the white house gave the fbi the gight to expand their atinvestigation. first, they were only able to interview four witnesses. they opened it up to other witnesses today, and that could mean other accusers. a new photo shows judge kavanaugh pictured with deborah ramirez in the late 0s. they were in the same wedding party more than a decade after ramirez says that kavanaugh exposed himself to her in a college dorm. nbc news also reports that text messages appear to kavanaugh asking a mutual friend to defend him onor thed against ramirez's allegations those allegation's went public. and in an nbc news exclusive

investigating two deadly motorcycle crashes i the latest happening this evening in rockville. montgomery county polic tel us 26-year-old priscilla alvez collided withhe car near red gate golf course. that car was attempting to make a u-turn when the motorcycle and hicle collided. in landover, a man is dead and d chs in critical condition. prince george's county police motorcycler was on a when it colluded wiided with a . they were both rushed to the hospital where the man later died. theriver of the car stayed at the scene and was not hurt. a year after a mother of three was killed in a crash, no charges have been filed in her death. her mother blames a driver who crossed the median and hit t car her daughter was riding in. news 4's shomari stone spoke to her family tonight.
