"early today"notarts right good tuesday morning. i'm marlie hall. >> and i'm phillip mena. the fbi n has the white house's blessing to widen the scope of its newed probe into supreme court nominee brett kavanaugh. the agency now authorized to interview anyone they think necessary but must still wrap up by friday. the change coming after two key republican senators, jef flake and susan colls, each said that they spoke with the white use to ensure a full investigation. and while the president says he has no problem with an expanded scope, he' still blasting democrats over the supreme court battle. in a rally last night in tennese, the president accused the party of trying to slow down the fbi. >> the democrats only know how to obstruct, demolish, and destroy. by the way, if we took ten years, they'd want more>> time.
