bring us rain. >> solutely. amelia draper continues our coverage. what can we >> we're in team 4 weather alert mode today. it's heavy rain that will impact during the afternoon and especially during the evening hours. you can see most of the area is dry, just a few sprinkle out there, back to the west around i-81 t and into panhandle of west virginia. michaelowers not with but with a cold front. michael and that front are going to come together right around our area. when tt happens, that's when we'll see that heavy rain, again mainly during the evening hours and east of i-95. that's why we have a flash flood watch in effector prince george's, king george county down through parts of the northern neck. the heaviest rain is from 4 p.m. until midnight. two to four inches will fall in

aftermath and track michael's path and grt a throughout the day. >> we are still tracking a developing story. the fbi says agents have stopped a new york man's plan to bomb the national mall. they believe it was part of a strang plot to promote some obscure politic r ideals. agended the man's home north of new york city yesterday. now he's in jail. news4's justin smith is o the national mall with the latest on theca . >> federal investigators say 64-year-old paul rosenfeld was fed up with the nation'spo tics and was willing to blow himself here on the washington mall and risk not only his life but others nearby. he was advancing the idea for the randomin choos of government leaders. it has its roots in ancient greece. a tipster in pennsylvania with

whom he shared his plan actually led federal officials to rosenfeld. he did confess to this plan, also to building a near 200-pound bomb in his in tappen, new york, just outside the new york city. now, in that home, not only did officials find the components of that bomb but alsote t explosive devices. rosenfeld also confeing that he recently purchased online eight pounds of bck powder he planned to use to fuel that bomb. he of course has been captured and his plot has been contained. officials say he does not have a criminal record, nor does he appear to hav any ties to any terrorism groups as well. he now faces at least two decades in prison for this plot. again, the roots of this appear to be polics. he wante to set this off on election day. a major crisis has beener d. on the mall, i'm justin finch,

east. as we continue to theveng and overnight hours, we'll see rain moving through the area. we'll have the threat for maybe an isolated tornado warning to down in extreme st. mary'sco ty and this is a rotating storm. as it moves through the area, it's possible to see spin-up with that bstorm. thegest concern will be east of 95 where we could see flooding issues.he 's the latest imagery on radar. you see the storm churning right along the carolinas. this is that cold front back to the west. here'st look those tornado watches just to our south, just south of fredericksburg. i don't think it going to hap n happen, but it's a small possibility. look at all the bright colors along 95 and off to the east.

storm. they have already rescued 27 people, mostly from damaged homes. we'll have more fromn amelia the rain we can expect as well. >> tomorrow marks 20 years since brutal murder of matthew shepard, a wyoming college studt killed because he was gay. a short time ago, the national cathedral announced shepard will be interred in their crypt. his parents recently served as grand marshalls for the d.c. pride parade earlier this year. >> two astronauts from the u.s. and russia are okay after having to make an emergency landing. > they were headed to th international space station when their russian booster failed.

we take you into the tense moments. >> a dramatic emergency landing in kazakhstan today. two astronauts, both in good condition and safe after this emergency landing. astronaut nick hague, an air force colonel and father of two was on his first flight today along with his fellow astront. it should have been a routine launch and six-hour flight to the international space station and a six-month mission. but just a few minutes after launch, there was a a problem they had a controlled fall.

infertility for a long time just like myself. why did you get involved inlv re and what did it do for you? you were just sort of a bystander looking foret an ou maybe. >> i found resolve when i was searching for resources to help support me and my husband as we dealt with our own journey. i decided to get involved with volunteer activities. and the walk was just the start. >> and you're super involved and you have a 7 1/2-year-oldboy. explain what resolve means. >> resolve is a patient advocacy organization. our core is to create a community for people who want to help advocate and find more formation and we do a lot of voke sadvocacy work and w give e an environment and community where they can articipate in that and can take back that

control that you feel like you sometimes lose in the infertility process. >> you do.ee you like you're sort of spinning out i think at times. and you're reaing outnd trying to find somebody who is similar to you and is going through that same battle. so with the world resolve, maybe o be resolve is you decide child free. maybe the resolve is you get pregnant. maybe the resolve is you have this new environment. >> it's different for everyone. the experience is very subjective. it's not one size fits all. >> what would you say to somebody suffering from infertility? with it com the feelings of hopelessness and depression, real situations where people feel this might not happe for me and trying to come to grips with that? >> i would say as hard as it is to talk about it, it is important to reach out to a support group, a local support group and to talk to people who are going through it as well because as hard as it is to tal about it, once you do start, it
